She is funny, clever, positive, caring....a brilliant human and she was once told (by a well known British retailer) that she wasn't to come back to her role in their Cafe. The reason, talking too much to the customers and more specifically those in their advanced years. The irony, if you can call it that, was those customers would choose the days when she was working to come in to see her as they enjoyed her company so much. Show me a team that cheers each other on, and I'll show you a team that's winning. I love the team culture we're building at Exit Five. Everyone is an owner of something. But also everyone's job overlaps with someone else's in some way. We don't have turf wars though. And we don't have joint ownership. Everything we do must be owned by a single person on the team. And the rest of the team is there to support that person's ownership. It's happening naturally, without a lot of direction. But its not just respecting who owns the project – our team actively cheers on each other's successes. We all want to see each other win. That's a big part of how we're winning this year. And we're hiring 2-3 more team members in the next 6-8 months 🙂
