The development of surgical robotics has facilitated minimally invasive surgeries that improve patient outcomes and recovery times. Powered by advanced motion control systems, one of the key technologies in the joints and appendages of these robots are frameless motors. Without traditional frames, bearings, and shafts, these units can be directly integrated into actuators or motion control solutions. Furthermore, Portescap engineers provide exceptional knowledge and support to optimize these solutions to suit the most demanding applications. https://bit.ly/4gXGsYk #Surgery #Robots #Medical #Healthcare #FramelessMotors #Portescap

Robotic precision and speed are revolutionizing microsurgery, enhancing precision and efficiency in delicate procedures. Robotic microsurgery platforms integrate advanced robotics with high-resolution imaging and motion stabilization, enabling surgeons to perform intricate procedures with unparalleled accuracy. These robotic systems offer several advantages over traditional microsurgery techniques. Firstly, they provide enhanced dexterity and maneuverability, allowing surgeons to navigate complex anatomical structures with greater precision. Additionally, robotic microsurgery platforms offer real-time feedback and image guidance, ensuring optimal visualization of surgical sites and minimizing the risk of errors. Moreover, robotic microsurgery enables faster and more efficient procedures, reducing surgical times and improving patient outcomes. By automating repetitive tasks and enhancing surgeon control, these systems streamline workflow and minimize fatigue, enabling surgeons to perform longer and more complex procedures with confidence. In 1985, the world saw the first robotic surgery using the PUMA 560, a robot originally built for industrial purposes. This groundbreaking event marked a major milestone in medical history, opening the door to the advanced robotic surgeries we have today. Since then, robotic systems have transformed healthcare, allowing surgeons to perform delicate procedures with more precision, flexibility, and control. What started as an experiment has now become a vital part of modern medicine, improving patient outcomes and making surgeries safer. The future of healthcare looks even more promising! #RoboticSurgery #MedicalInnovation #HealthcareTechnology #RoboticsInMedicine #FutureOfHealthcare #SurgeryRevolution #TechInHealthcare #MedicalRobotics #InnovationInHealthcare #RoboticAssist

The precision is incredible, albeit seemingly slow compared to human suturing. Corn notably doesn't move and isn't squishy like human innards; however, this is amazing progress. I believe it will be a while before robotic surgeries can go without human supervision because of unexpected or unusual situations or emergencies. The complexity and individuality of the human body would make AI training particularly challenging. However, some benefits of robotic surgeons include: 🤖 The ability to perform long surgeries without fatigue or loss of concentration, 🤖 The ability to retain huge libraries of techniques, 🤖 The ability to train by virtually trying out techniques quickly and amassing a vast library of what works and doesn't work, 🤖 No focus issues due to personal or work distractions, 🤖 No effects from insufficient sleep or rest. Would you go under the knife with a robotic surgeon? If yes, what milestones should it achieve before its first unassisted human surgery?
