Last week William Duncan and Martyn Duggan attended the RenewableUK Onshore Wind Conference, and it is clear there is a huge buzz around this tech and its potential, but deployment will be challenging in England with the de facto ban now lifted. The more advance markets in Scotland and Wales will bring huge learning to this space. The question is whether England is ready for onshore wind at scale- the public opinion stats suggest so, but we will have to see what happens once they come forwards.
