The past few weeks have not only been intense for many sports teams and fans. They have also shown the impact that athletes and national sports teams can have on societies and culture. But first things first: My heartfelt congratulations to Spain for winning the UEFA EURO soccer championship and to Barbora Krejcikova and Carlos Alcaraz for winning the Wimbledon finals this past weekend! It was truly exciting to watch these outstanding performances. I found it fascinating to once again see how national sports teams can be so loved – or highly criticized – by their people. They can really move a nation! The EURO 2024 in particular showed how sport can be both a reflection and an update on the state of a society. Let’s take Germany as an example: Despite bowing out in the quarter-finals, everyone was fascinated by the strong team spirit and the performance of the German national soccer team. They received unwavering support from a huge number of fans. Coach Julian Nagelsmann even spoke of a symbiosis between the team and the fans that could have a transformative effect on society in general. “We have managed to unite people,” he said. I like this aspiration of having an impact beyond a sport itself. It really captures the essence of working together as a team. Yes, success and winning is great and should be the ultimate goal. But winning a tournament depends on many factors that cannot be influenced by the teams alone. Which is why a team should focus on unity, cooperation, and performance. Helping each other, working together toward a common vision will ultimately lead to success. The Olympic Games are now just around the corner and will maybe have a similar effect. I’m looking forward to watching fair games. #Learned lessons in #proactivemanagement from #Euro2024 and namely from #LuisDeLaFuente. 1- Act as a winner 2- Believe and encourage the young player despite the famous names they will face on the pitch. 3- Best selection of national team consisting from player from more than 10 spanish clubs giving #Laliga wings flying over Europe. 4- Don’t invest in winner names only based on long experience. 5- Manage the game during all 90+ minutes from touch line. 6- Proof that being #mediaoutsider since the start of the championship doesn’t mean nothing. 7- Creat icons and idols from very #young almost unknown players. 8- Lead the #psychological game as good out of pitch as inside it. 9- Make history leading Spain winning Euro championship for the record fourth time with #NoLost game. 10- Discover young names that will be in the focus for long years. 11- Doing the most optimal changes ontime when the team needs it. 12- Reduces the average age of players at international scene , giving the youth an advanced stimulus and impulse for success despite its age. #Management #Spain #Winners #Euro2024 #Leadership

Here's the deal: 1️⃣ Less sports in schools? Seriously, France? Cutting down on hours of physical education is not the way to nurture future champions. Florent says we only started preparing two years ago when it takes a minimum of 10-12 years to build a strong foundation. That's like playing catch-up in a marathon. 3️⃣ Look at the Brits, they nailed it in 2012 with the London Olympics. They had the infrastructure, the investment, and a long-term plan. We've got talent, but we're lagging behind in facilities and funding compared to our Anglo-Saxon friends. 4️⃣ Florent believes we'll still bring in medals in Tokyo, thanks to our amazing athletes. But doubling the medal count by 2024? He's skeptical. We're playing catch-up, and that's a tough game to win. So, France, it's time to step up. We can't rely on talent alone.
