My favorite and only Total Quality Logistics one, we are all witnesses of what kind of market this is and in which direction it is going, and we all know very well that you are the largest company with by far the largest number of tours from all regions, even in this market that is on its knees. I would just like a few things let me remind you because you obviously thought or someone told you that the entire transport of America depends exclusively on you ,because that is exactly how you behave, my dears. As a long-time dispatcher in the world of box trucks, I realized today that you cross the border in some things such as frivolity , unprofessionalism, disorganization, use all possible tools to book a load with a cheaper career, even if you book a load with me first (this refers to less experienced brokers, and there are 80% of them in tql because all the more experienced go to more serious companies). The old market will come back again and you will need us, take care of your careers and have respect for them, because the situation can turn around very quickly and we can again expect countless tql calls to posted trucks...

Here's a bit of fun for you! Last weekend, I was up late tracking a vessel docking at DP World - 9:30pm, glued to the screen, waiting for the discharge updates. Why? Because 2 clients had containers onboard that were ridiculously urgent thanks to the current congestion and backlog in ocean freight. At Clenton's, when things are urgent we don't wait for the 1st free day. We are ready the moment those containers are off the vessel. We’re there, 24/7, working with terminal operators, tracking every move, and ensuring we get our clients’ cargo out as soon as it hits the ground. Saturday was a prime example. The 1st container came off at 7:15. I booked an 8pm slot. BUT it was just as the driver was heading out the gate, that the second container landed. It was already 9:10 but I was still able to get a 9pm slot. So, laughing, I rang the driver and was like - "Just do a U-turn mate, drive straight back in!" The estimated discharge time had passed hours ago, but when you’ve got an A-double in position and ready to go, you don’t let the clock dictate your next move. Managing the logistics of snow and ice services is a complex dance of preparation, responsiveness, and resource allocation. Only a little more than a third of snow and ice professionals responded to last Friday's Quick Poll that they had a solid handle on their operations. In contrast, another third (32%) conceded there was definite room for improvement, while the final third (33%) didn't know because they hadn't looked closely at operational effectiveness and efficiency. The US Department of Transportation is calling for breakbulk cargo owners, carriers and other stakeholders to help identify which corridors and facilities should be deemed critical to the multimodal transport of freight across the US. The DOT has published a request to solicit written input from the public on what should be included in the project. SC&RA VP of Transportation Chris Smith says that the timing of the DOT effort is important. “This is a big part of our advocacy strategy. We are working with members in every state to make the OS/OW case to freight planners.” Smith is gathering feedback that will support heavy haul’s position in this process.
