Happy National Healthcare Quality Week! This week is a great reminder of what quality really means in healthcare. It’s not just some trendy term; it’s the core of everything we do to make sure patients get the best care possible. In specialty pharmacy, I see how essential quality is every day. We deal with complex medications for patients with unique needs, and our focus on quality goes way beyond just getting those meds to them. It’s about providing personalized care, ongoing support, and helping patients feel confident as they navigate their treatment journeys. Quality is more than just checking off boxes; it’s about building trust, reducing errors, and working as a team. When everyone does their part, we create a healthcare space where patients feel truly cared for. So, let’s celebrate our hard work this week! Here’s to continuously raising the bar in healthcare quality—because when we get it right, everyone wins!

📊 Thyme Care offers more than 100 various evidence-based support plans, which include a series of role-specific tasks for the Care Team to take action on. 🏥 For instance, when a member is discharged from the ER, the “Emergency Department Discharge Transition of Care” playbook is activated. It prompts the care team to reach out to the patient, confirm they have a follow-up appointment, can access their medications and understand their discharge instructions. There are also playbooks for social needs and to connect patients to community-based organizations. 💛 Playbooks are used as a guide by our Care Team to deliver the right care swiftly and with intention. The image below is a snapshot of our user-friendly Thyme Box dashboard. We are ending the week on a strong note and wanted to share our recap on attending Healthcare Advocate Summit. This event is a must-attend for any of those working in healthcare. Educational sessions, networking and the result of the recharge many of us in medication access need before the busiest time of year ( ❄ Blizzard season) is here. Here's some of the teams insight on attending the event ⤵ ▫ COO, Yolanda Martillo, MBA: "I learned something new from everyone I met. It was very helpful to connect with people who could complement what we are doing, the network experience was invaluable and the panels and lectures were relevant to today's healthcare challenges. It was nice to see other people being passionate about taking care of patients." ▫ Specialty biller, Thao Vu: "I think we grew up too privileged (and with healthcare knowledge) to know that there are so many people out there who cannot get medical care/medications that we take for granted. It was eye opening for me." ▫ Director of Strategy and Business Development, Mostyn Fero: "Advocacy is an underrepresented faction in the healthcare world, yet provide services that are not only helpful, but necessary for many patients and people trying to navigate American healthcare. Listening and learning of the stories, struggles, achievements, and goals of advocates is always informative and inspiring!" ▫ Director of Customer Success, Sheri Cawby: "2024 was my 3rd year attending and working the event. Being surrounded by so many advocates whose goal is medication access and affordability amazes me every year. If it wasn't for some of these passionate advocates, patients would be struggling to get the care and help they need. The passion is something that just can't be put into words! ▫ Director of Practice Services, Briana O'Dwyer: "I have been attending and volunteering at the summit since it's conception. To see the organic growth of those who have been called and inspired to attend is mind-blowing. Seeing advocates, staff who work in practices, pharmacies, pharma, all the way down to those representing technological solutions is truly the representation of what happens when you rally all of those whose goal is to improve patient access and affordability in every sector of healthcare is something that truly puts me in awe. The nuggets of knowledge I come back with and new connections make the event exceptional and a must attend every year!" . . . . . #healthcare #healthcareadvocatesummit #advocate #advocacy #education #medicationaccess #specialtydrugs #allergy #asthma #networking #fostergrowth #access #accesstocare #affordability #medicocx
