This individual will be responsible for all aspects of the Company’s domestic and international tax compliance, tax planning and accounting for income taxes. Maintenance and development of policies and procedures for domestic and international tax. Responsible for ongoing compliance with and monitoring of tax regulations. The successful candidate will work with financial management, third party service providers, and other tax professionals in carrying out his or her responsibilities. Ideal candidate will be a CPA with at least 10 years of tax generalist experience with Big 4 or a mix of Big 4 and corporate accounting experience. Vice President of Accounting We are conducting a search for a VP of Accounting with a publicly traded technology company who is a leader in their industry. This person will be responsible for overseeing an accounting team, reporting directly to the Corporate Controller with responsibility for domestic and international accounting operations including general ledger, process improvement, payroll, A/P, cash, equity, accruals, debt, fixed assets and adhoc projects. This person will manage/mentor a team of 5 direct reports with a full team of close to 25, both domestic and international. The ideal candidate will be a CPA with 12+ years experience in accounting operations, preferably with experience in international and statutory accounting, and must have experience leading large teams. The role is primarily remote, as long as the candidate is available to attend team meetings in Northern Virginia once a month. The person in this role will assist the General Counsel with strategy, direction, and oversight of legal affairs of the Company, including leasing, development, acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and operations of the commercial real estate portfolio.
