The snow is already flying at Powderhorn Mountain Resort, though some of the recent warm weather has melted most of it. Nonetheless, the resort is gearing up for the coming ski and snowboard season. General Manager Ryan Schramm said they were able to make some snow about a week ago. Since then temperatures have not allowed snow making operations, which is normal for this time of year. “We’re ready whenever we can get below freezing,” Schramm said.
