Capping Rubber, also called support bar rubber or cushion rubber, should be fitted on top of your camber bars before you fit your mesh. Worn, or missing rubbers can cause your mesh to fail prematurely due to the mesh either being fitted on an uneven surface, or the metal to metal contact caused by missing rubbers when the screen is running. It's a cheap addition to your screen mesh order and could save money in the long run by preventing additional down time and frequent mesh replacement.
