#YouthforSDGs #youthforagenda2030 #youthforagenda2063 I'm thrilled to be part of the workshop series the Africa SDGs Mentorship Programme impactful-educative training. My reflections are the 7 Aspirations of Agenda 2063: Africa's development blueprint to achieve inclusive and sustainable socio-economic development. The Africa We Want as young people we need to be part of the decision-making and participate effectively on the key Flagship Programmes which can boost Africa's economic growth and development that lead to the rapid transformation of the continent. Agenda 2063 seeks to deliver on a set of Seven Aspirations each with its own set of goals which if achieved will move Africa closer to achieving its vision for the year 2063. These 7 Aspirations reflect the desire for shared prosperity and well-being, for unity and integration, for a continent of free citizens and expanded horizons, where the full potential of women and youth are realised, and with freedom from fear, disease and want. As African youth we believe that together, we can make significant strides towards sustainable development across the continent.

If there are words one can go by describing this meeting #CatalysingChangeWeek2024 today (8th May, 2024 at 2pm WAT): It was a great meeting with so much information and insights into how we can move the continent of Africa 🌍 forward in the areas of youth skills empowerment and development, thereby harnessing our growing youth population. The panelist (Serge-Auguste Kouakou, Joannes Paulus Yimbesalu ) did a great job, and also the moderators (Aramide Abe); as we have begin setting a clear framework towards 2030 on development; through informed-data-driven decisions and inclusiveness at all levels. As a developing continent;there is so much available room for growth, and the emerging of big cities coming from Africa - staying on this development track: We see the posibilities!

It was an absolute pleasure to meet with Diplomat Dr. Narchiso Sipao at the Equatorial Guinea Embassy and engage in a stimulating discussion regarding the African Continent Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) and its potential impact on the future of Africa. Our conversation shed light on the transformative power of this agreement and the significant opportunities it presents for the youth to actively participate in its implementation. #Youth involvement in AfCFTA can take various forms: 1. Entrepreneurship and Innovation: The agreement opens avenues for young entrepreneurs to thrive by removing trade barriers, thus promoting job creation and economic growth. 2. Skills Development and Capacity Building: Targeted programs can equip youth with the necessary skills and knowledge in trade, finance, and entrepreneurship, enabling them to seize AfCFTA's opportunities effectively. 3. Policy Advocacy and Engagement: Engaging youth in policy advocacy ensures that AfCFTA implementation addresses their needs, fostering inclusive development and sustainable growth. 4. Cross-Border Collaboration: AfCFTA encourages collaboration among African countries, offering opportunities for youth exchanges and joint ventures, which can enhance integration and prosperity. AfCFTA presents a historic opportunity to unlock Africa's economic potential and alleviate poverty. By involving youth in its implementation, we can ensure inclusive and sustainable development for generations to come. We are eager to collaborate with stakeholders like Dr. Sipao to harness the power of youth participation in realizing AfCFTA's vision. #EquatorialGuineaEmbassy #AU #UrbanTechforHope

As a student studying Sustainable International Agricultre, I am thrilled to be a part of the Africa SDG Mentorship programm AIIDEV Africa . I was thrilled today to learn on the structures of the African Union and the Agenda 2063. The Agenda 2063 is the African Union's blueprint for a prosperous and transformative Africa. Key aspirations include inclusive growth, sustainable development, and regional integration. It emphasizes good governance, peace, and security, ensuring democratic institutions and human rights are upheld. The agenda also celebrates Africa’s cultural heritage and promotes people-driven development, focusing on the participation of women and youth. By positioning Africa as a strong global player, Agenda 2063 envisions a united continent making significant strides on the world stage. Interestingly is how both Agenda 2030 and 2063 complement each other. The time is now to make the Africa we want!!! #Agenda2063 #AfricanUnion #SustainableDevelopment #InclusiveGrowth ---
