What's better than a LIDAR? Two LIDARs! It's a journey of continuous learning and adaptation. As I explore deeper into the world of technology, I'm gaining experience in how to lead and plan a project. I'm learning to work with what I have, understanding limitations, and discovering how to overcome them. Each challenge refines my patience and drives my passion to optimize and integrate technologies. Each technology acts like a scope, through which one project opens the door to another, and one skill leads to the next. The more I learn, the more I realize how big the world of technology is, and what I know is just a small percentage of it. But every step is a valuable step towards a better understanding of complex systems. New hardware has arrived, allowing the project to advance further: -GPS Ublox NEO-8M to add precision positioning. -Two LIDARs. -Onboard Display with new UART FT232 featuring USB Type-C for more reliable cabling. I've also replaced old LIDAR motors to boost reliability. I can't wait to finish the next version! #LIDAR #Ublox #ESP32 #UART #Innovation #TechUpdate #Engineering #ContinuousLearning #TechnologyJourney

#LiDAR As an advanced detection and measurement technology, LiDAR has the advantages of high precision, high resolution, and high reliability. It provides key technical support in the fields of unmanned driving, intelligent transportation, industrial automation and robots, warehousing and logistics, environmental perception, industrial mapping, etc. According to Sullivan's forecast, the global LiDAR market will reach US$13.54 billion by 2024, with a compound growth rate of 64.65% from 2020 to 2025. Although the growth of LiDAR is unstoppable, cost reduction is still one of the core concerns of enterprises. As a precision sensor integrating light, machinery, and electricity, LiDAR has not only computing chips as its core components, but also hundreds of subdivided devices inside. In terms of production process, the material cost and equipment debugging cost are high. If you want to reduce costs, you need to start from the bottom-level chip, which is equivalent to turning the cost and mass production of LiDAR into a "semiconductor" problem. In fact, the laser transceiver module, which occupies the bulk of the BOM cost (material cost) of LiDAR, includes electronic components such as lasers, detectors, lasers, laser drivers, and analog front ends. By integrating these laser components on the chip, the material cost and installation and debugging costs can be reduced. At the same time, the chip cost can be further reduced by continuously improving the semiconductor process. With the popularization of smart devices, the scene requirements of different application fields have also put forward targeted requirements for laser radar technology. In the future, laser radar products will be more diversified, personalized, and customized. In this context, the laser radar industry chain has both challenges and opportunities. #Chenghepcba #pcb #pcbdesign #pcbmanufacturing #pcba #pcbassembly #EMS #smt #pcbamanufacturing #ic #chips #components #electroniccomponents #onestopsolution #sourcingandprocurement
