Our goal is to make the switch to sustainable boating as seamless as possible. At Evoy, we believe that transparency is fundamental in building trust and understanding with new technology. When we discuss our powerful electric outboard and inboard motor systems, you probably noticed that we refer to horsepower (hp) first, then kilowatts (kW). Here’s why: Using horsepower when talking about our electric motors provides you with easily relatable information to make better, more informed decisions: ▪️ Familiar standards: Horsepower is the standard unit for engine power. It makes it easier for you to compare our electric systems with traditional combustion engines. ▪️ User-friendly communication: Let’s all speak the same language so that we can all be on the same wavelength. ▪️ Consistency: Horsepower is universally recognized in marine propulsion; it helps us communicate with everyone, ensuring everyone can make informed decisions. Simplifying your switch: With familiar standards, clear information and relatable comparisons – our goal is to make it easier for you to make the switch to electric boating with confidence. Why make it complicated when it’s not?
