Over the years, I've learned that these clients are the most difficult person to work. Even if you agree to work at lower rate, they might still be dissatisfied. It's best to avoid these clients. If you're skilled, you should charge higher hourly or fixed rates. Next time tell these client that video editing isn’t Rocket Science; you can learn it in 30-90 days. Don't you get too frustrated when your expectations with your editor don't align well??🤯 Maybe you have a unique style, you have a personal brand that has a certain tone. But your editor is not aware of it, and you're just micromanaging them to solve this. If you have to micromanage your editors, then what's the point of hiring one Right? Then how are you going to deal with it?⬇️ Set clear expectations from the beginning regarding the project's goals, tone and style.
