The generator set must meet the following conditions before it can be closed for power transmission: 1、 Firstly, the following checks should be conducted on the unit: 1. The electrical system has no short-circuit grounding wire, and the grounding knife switch has been disconnected. 2. All instruments, controls, and signaling devices are intact and complete. 3. All relay protection, excitation regulation devices, and signal circuits are intact. The activation and deactivation of each protective pressure plate meet the requirements of the startup mode. 4. The generator, main and auxiliary exciters are clean and undamaged, and the temperature gauges are complete and indicate correctly. 5. The slip ring, brush holder, and excitation cable are intact, and the joints are securely fastened. The number of carbon brushes is complete, the grades are consistent, there is no jamming or breakage of small braids, the spring pressure is moderate, and the grounding carbon brushes of the main shaft are intact. 6. The hydrogen, oil, and water pipelines of the cooling system are intact without any leakage. 7. The enclosed busbar has no deformation or cracks, and the peephole is intact. 8. The excitation system is intact and all switch linkage tests are normal. 9.
