“The art of the successful deal” was the -catchy- title of the discussion that took place yesterday during the Mergers & Acquisitions Summit, held in Athens. Together with PWC’s George Makripidis we had the opportunity to revisit recent successful PPC Group deals and analyze what makes a deal successful. PPC Group is on a growth trajectory. It grows in two directions, expanding geographically, and also in different areas of operations. This is achieved both with organic and inorganic means, be it cooperations or acquisitions. Combining the two is helping us increase our firepower. Our two latest acquisitions, namely Enel’s Romanian operations and Kotsovolos, two of the biggest recent deals of Greek corporates, had one main ingredient in common; they both served and accelerated the implementation of our 2030 vision for the PPC Group. The closing of a deal is considered at signing, a time for celebration, but for the buyer and the acquired company the real work starts just after that. It’s of outmost importance to successfully integrate the newly acquired companies in the Group’s culture and operations and at the same time activate all triggers for synergies extraction and value creation. I am happy to report that the integration process of both of our acquisitions is progressing at high speed in a productive manner. Thank you, Dimitris Delevegos, for moderating this interesting discussion! PPC S.A.

In Romania (with google translate) If you can't do it anymore... don't do it anymore. Limit yourself only to what you can do and stop making fun of your customers through incompetence or the lack of specialized staff. For a week I have been struggling to buy 2 air conditioners from you. Below I will show you the mockery of the client. P.S. : I also wrote to the managers on Link from but it seems that their opinion does not matter, the employees only do what they want. first day "The sales service in your company is dust. For three days I have been trying to buy two air conditioners from you. On the official page I submitted the offer request ... result 0. I spoke (tried to speak) at the number the phone that the robot gives me three times, do you think that if you give something in installments, the customer is a beggar? ? So I tell the operator the phone number ... guess what ? Maybe you can find the phone number by name to the many attempts to collaborate with PPC if you think you are a serious company that respects its customers.

The fourth day after all the official steps; fb chat; Messenger; link from: "The situation has remained unchanged since the moment I wrote to you. I could not place the order. The type of device ordered was clarified, but the ordered number is impossible to achieve. I tell them that I ordered two devices, they tell me that They called me for one. I was told by 3 operators that I ordered 1 air conditioner. I try to explain to them that I ordered two machines, they say that it is not their job and to call a number to correct it ( (the number with a robot that takes you to another operator). Every time another operator answers, which of course does not solve anything. What would you do in this case?" It's hard... this thing about selling a product in this company is kind of hard.

Absolutely correct and valid points Konstantine and well done 👍. I would only add measuring also synergies and value creation which along with the post-integration tasks seem to be the most challenging parts for a proper post-completion analysis. Congratulations once again for your presentation. 👏👏
