Škoda ACS system has become an official part of Olomouc’s public transport. Our advanced anti-collision system is now in operation on the city’s newest tram, bringing a new level of safety to urban mobility. During a live demonstration, the system successfully detected obstacles and automatically brought the tram to a stop—without any driver intervention—proving its effectiveness in real-world conditions. "A great advantage of the system is its versatility—it can be installed on both new and older trams, regardless of their manufacturer, as confirmed by its successful implementation in Olomouc," said Jan Husak, CTO of our Digitalisation Division.
