Say hello to Kirby! Raising puppies for Guiding Eyes is an adventure filled with fur, fun, and a few chewed shoes. But beyond the cute snuggles and puppy breath, it’s taught me some valuable life lessons. - Consistency is Key to Success- Whether it’s teaching a puppy to sit or hitting those quarterly targets, consistency is everything. Just like a puppy thrives on routine and clear commands, we thrive on steady effort and unwavering dedication. Remember, a treat (or a promotion) is just around the corner if you stay consistent! - You Can Find Community if Your Eyes Are Open - Walking around with a puppy-in-training is like being a celebrity. People of all ages and backgrounds stop to chat, share stories, and offer support. It’s a beautiful reminder that community is all around us—we just need to open our eyes (and sometimes our hearts) to see it. - Patience, Patience, and More Patience - Puppies are a lot like life: unpredictable and occasionally messy. Learning to be patient, whether it's with a rambunctious pup or a challenging project, is essential. After all, every chewed-up shoe or extended deadline is just another step towards growth and understanding. - Celebrate the Little Wins - When that puppy finally masters a command, it’s like winning the lottery. In life, we often overlook the small victories, but they’re worth celebrating. Whether it’s landing a new client or getting through a tough Monday, take a moment to enjoy those little wins. Happy Monday! #GuidingEyes #PuppyRaiser #LifeLessons #Community #Patience #Consistency #CelebrateTheWins #MondayMotivation #PersonalGrowth #DogTraining #Leadership

They crave your time, attention, and love. If you can’t commit to caring, training, and spending quality time with them, it might not be the right time to welcome a furry companion into your home. Remember, it’s not all about you—it’s about creating a loving and fulfilling life for your pup too. Founder, The 10x Operating System → Coaching CEOs to conquer problems and make strategic decisions with targeted solutions
🙌 My 10-year-old Learned About Empathy, and here’s How… After a long walk, I noticed something in one of our big planters on the front porch. As I looked closer, I saw a bunch of baby rabbits. It turns out THAT a mama rabbit had decided to have her babies in our planter. Although, it wasn’t the first time. 2 to 3 weeks went by, and we had six baby bunnies running all over our porch. Some were bold enough to jump off, while others hesitated at the edge, finding a safe corner to wait for their mother to come back and feed them. One day, I was in the garage and noticed one of the babies had gotten in but didn’t know how to get out. I chased it towards the door but wasn’t certain it had gotten out. The next day we left for the weekend for a swim meet for my sons. On Monday, I was in the garage again and noticed the rabbit was still there. It was extremely anxious and shaky. Although it was scared, it accepted some coriander and water THAT we poured on the floor. My youngest son wanted to put it outside, but it seemed like it needed to be cared for and nurtured back to health. We decided to put it in a large box so THAT it could eat and drink without being afraid. It nestled itself in the corner, and we covered it with a small blanket. We checked on it occasionally and made sure it was still alive. Then we tried to feed it again and noticed it didn’t budge at all. The poor thing had died. We are nature lovers and don’t mind birds nesting on our house or bunnies nesting in our flowerpot. I asked my son how he felt afterward, and he was sad. So was I. But we learned a good lesson about what to do if an animal gets STUCK inside again. Moral of the story: Empathy isn’t just about understanding others— it’s about taking action to support and nurture them, even when things don’t go as planned. #Empathy #NatureLovers #ParentingLessons #WildlifeConservation #LifeLessons #FamilyValues #SustainableLiving

"Excuse me, guys? Could you please tell me if anyone wants to take me home?" Sadly, Vito hasn't received any adoption applications yet, but we're sure he'll find his family soon! While adorable puppies often steal the spotlight, our adult dogs, such as our beloved Vito, are still patiently waiting for their adopters. There are multiple benefits to bringing an adult dog into your life rather than a puppy: Skip the puppy phase: No need to worry about chewing and teething! It's also far quicker and easier to toilet train an adult dog than a youngster. Know their personality and behaviour: The temperament and personality of an adult dog is already established, so our team can fully inform you of what to expect! Lots of love: Adopting an adult dog is a truly rewarding experience, and the affection and gratitude they show is immeasurable. If you're considering adopting a dog, please don't overlook Vito or any of our other adults. They're equally as deserving of a loving home! To learn more about Vito and his grown-up friends, please visit the 'Adoptions' page of our website (linked below!) https://lnkd.in/ePXWyMfU #adoptdontshop #adoptadog #adoptme #dogrescue
