This week, as always when markets jitter, we've seen the usual parade of pundits coming out with the same old tired one-size-fits-all tropes ... usually some version of "Keep Calm and Carry On!" These aren't wrong, they're just not particularly effective engagement to help investors overcome their emotional angst in practice. Fundamentally, investors are different, and so behaviourally effective communication needs to be personalised to the particular financial personality, and behavioural pain-points of each investor.
