Hydration Check! It's still summer. Are you properly hydrated? It’s so important to maintain fluid and electrolyte balance as you train. Here are some quick tips to keep in mind. Drink water throughout the day to meet your baseline fluid needs and increase fluid intake as you’re sweating more with exercise and warmer conditions. Include hydrating beverages like milk; chocolate milk is a great choice post-exercise for replacing lost electrolytes. Monitor the color of your urine. Pale yellow urine indicates adequate hydration, while darker urine may mean you are dehydrated.
