Did you know that a lot of research shows different learning styles don't exist? Just wanted to put this out there for anyone who might benefit from hearing this - although, obviously feel free to do your own research and make up your own mind. This video from Veritasium gives a good overview of the findings: https://lnkd.in/ecNZTuDt if you prefer your information in journal style, there's the below: https://lnkd.in/e547gJvF #learning #traininganddevelopment

Last week at the VL/HCC conference, Kashumi Madampe, PhD, PSPO successfully led a brainstorming session focused on roadmap development for human-centric computing studies. She also delivered an insightful talk titled 'The Struggle is Real! The Agony of Recruiting Participants for Empirical Software Engineering Studies'. In her presentation, Kashumi explored the challenges of gathering data from software professionals, sharing real-world experiences from recruiting participants for empirical research in software engineering. She discussed the obstacles faced, solutions implemented, and provided a concise list of strategies to better engage potential participants. #VLHCC #HumanCentricComputing #SoftwareEngineering #EmpiricalResearch #ParticipantRecruitment Monash Information Technology

Day 52 of my #70DaysOfDSA challenge, and today I tackled Combination Sum III. Today's Focus: Solving the Combination Sum III problem which involves finding all possible combinations of k numbers that add up to a number n. Insight of the Day: Breaking down a problem into smaller parts and using recursion can simplify complex tasks. Key Takeaways: Understand the importance of backtracking in solving combination problems. Efficiently manage the constraints to reduce the complexity of the solution. Practice makes perfect when dealing with recursive solutions. Question of the Day: What is backtracking and how does it work in solving combination problems? Answer: Backtracking is an algorithmic technique for solving problems recursively by trying to build a solution incrementally. It removes solutions that fail to meet the problem's constraints at any point. In combination problems, backtracking explores all potential combinations by making a series of decisions, abandoning a path as soon as it determines that it cannot lead to a valid solution, and backtracking to try another path. If you found this helpful, please hit the like button! Share your thoughts and experiences with backtracking and combination problems. #SoftwareDevelopment #ContinuousLearning #DSA #Day52 #JoinMe

Day 80 of 365 #365daysofcode #dsa #cpp #dsa Today's Topic -> Prim's algorithm Prim's Algorithm is used to find the minimum spanning tree from a graph. Prim's algorithm finds the subset of edges that includes every vertex of the graph such that the sum of the weights of the edges can be minimized. Prim's algorithm starts with the single node and explores all the adjacent nodes with all the connecting edges at every step. The edges with the minimal weights causing no cycles in the graph got selected. LinkedIn LinkedIn Learning #learning #socialconnect #happiness

I am happy to share with you one of the projects that we worked on in third semester in #imam_university . The project was part of our course ” #Information_systems analysis and design” 🖥️, under the supervision of Dr. Sarah AlSager 🌷. Our topic was inspired from our experiences as students coming to be #co_op_trainees where we will need certificates that develop our skills, abilities and knowledge👩💻. Our system called [CertifyHub], an integrated program that collects and list all types of professional certificates and their related information in one platform. Therfore, our program aims to facilitate access to all professional certificates, where it allows users to search for specific certificate, upload information, view and compare their professional certifcation. Some of the #advantages of our program [CertifyHub] 📲: -Ease of access -Diversity of Certification -Continuous Updates -Crediability and Trust -Time Saving
