I recently had a chat with my chartered accountant, and they mentioned something quite concerning. Almost everyone dabbling in Futures & Options (F&O) trading seems to be losing money. Out of all the returns they've filed, 99.99% showed losses in F&O. It’s especially troubling for salaried individuals who are otherwise earning well. They’re facing significant financial setbacks. It's a reminder that it's crucial to fully understand financial management before diving into areas like F&O trading #Finance #Investing #FinancialAdvice #FuturesAndOptions #Trading #PersonalFinance #FinancialPlanning #InvestSmart #WealthManagement #MarketTrends #TaxTips #story #swingtrading #ca #money #opportunity

Dear network, I’m happy to announce that I’ve just obtained a new certification in company valuation with the ‘’Discounted cash-flow’’ (US GAAP). Ps: As this valuation model is the most relevant among many others, it’s widely used by financial analysts and investment bankers before considering (or advising) any kind of acquisition. #forecasting 📈 #unleveredfreecashflow 💸 #valuation 📊 #weightedaveragecostofcapital ⚖️

General ledger (GL) is a record of a company's financial transactions, including debits and credits. It's a key tool for managing a company's finances, and is used to generate financial reports and statements, and comply with tax laws. An inappropriate general ledger can have severe repercussions on a company's financial health and operations. If transactions are not accurately recorded or categorized, it can lead to incorrect financial statements, mismanagement of funds, and potentially illegal activities such as fraud or embezzlement. Inaccurate general ledger entries can also result in unreliable financial information being presented to investors, creditors, and regulatory authorities, damaging the company's reputation and credibility. This can lead to decreased investor confidence, loss of business opportunities, litigation, fines, and even bankruptcy. It is crucial for companies to maintain an accurate and up-to-date general ledger to ensure compliance with accounting standards, transparency in financial reporting, and overall business success. #GL #finance #accounting #corporate #detroit #michigan #business #risk #audit #IC
