Life science companies have stepped up to fill a critical gap by building out patient support programs. When organizations are willing to raise the bar for patient care, the efforts are still criticized. "How do we ensure people continue to have access to the care they need?" It's an intriguing comment - absent of life science companies stepping up, the patients go back into the same system they would have experienced if the patient support program didn't exist.
