They must either live in a skilled nursing facility or receive extensive professional care at home. Sometimes, this care is necessary because of physical ailments. Other times, the senior requires memory care due to Alzheimer’s or dementia. 5. END OF LIFE End of life is the last stage in the aging process. At this point, the senior is nearing their final days. Some older adults choose to stop receiving medical treatment and enter hospice care, and others wish to continue receiving the same services.
