Flash Harry One Shot is a durable acrylic and membrane system for the waterproofing of iron, or tiled pitched roof applications, skylights, parapets, roof ridges, flashings and roof screws. One shot must be used in conjunction with a waterproofing membrane. As with any liquid and membrane system, the first saturating coat is critical. Applying many coats on top of the membrane does not yield proper results. One Shot is ot recommended for areas of long-term ponding or under tiles (fish ponds etc). On porous surfaces a 50% product and water dilution or a bonding liquid, is recommended as a priming coat. Do not use to overcoat bitumen waterproofing systems. Ensure compatibility when applying a waterproofing compound over an existing unknown product. Also not recommended where exposure to negative water pressure is present. Our new HB1100-SA is a two component, self-leveling, fast curing, UV & weather resistant, integral aggregate, low VOC, waterproofing polyurethane traffic coating system for both exterior and interior applications exposed to pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Pecora-Deck HB1100-SA is a one-step traffic coating system that includes integral aggregate and functions as both a waterproofing and traffic bearing deck coating system. When applying Pecora Deck HB1100-SA in a single coat, use an appropriately sized V-notched squeegee (see below) and apply the coating at the following coverage rates: PEDESTRIAN 1/4” V-notched squeegee 49 sq ft/gal (33 wet mils) VEHICULAR: 3/8” V-notched squeegee 36 sq ft/gal (45 wet mils) After applying the coating to the surface, immediately back roll using a 1/4” nap roller in two directions perpendicular to each other taking care not to displace the integral aggregates by applying too much pressure on the roller. Once the application is complete, allow the Pecora Deck HB1100-SA to cure for 24 hours prior to opening completed system to traffic.

The most important part of waterproofing is in the prep work. To make sure your project is a success follow the instructions to get the job right the first time! Surface must be clean and free from dirt, dust, grease, oil, form release compound, or paint. Old paint in poor condition must be removed by using suitable means. Patch all holes or cracks and the floor/wall joint with DRYLOK® FAST PLUG®, a fast-setting hydraulic cement, and smooth the patch evenly with the surface. EFFLORESCENCE, a white, powdery, crystal-like deposit visible on the masonry surface, must be removed. DRYLOK® ETCH or muriatic acid, used according to manufacturer’s directions, are effective efflorescence removal agents. All masonry surfaces are subject to occurrences of efflorescence. If the surface is slightly damp, wet, or efflorescence troubled, apply DRYLOK® Wet Wall Bonding Primer to troubled areas according to the label instructions.
