Our shift to hybrid is a continuing journey as we live up to our Core Value of Team Excellence. The important thing we clarified at the start is that it's not about telling employees where they should work on specific days. Rather, it's about empowering our people to choose the set up that works best for them in terms of productivity as framed by Gustavo Razetti in "Remote Not Distant" . When we gave them the choice, many of our people still chose to report onsite full time. A few chose hybrid, Mon-Tue onsite, then the rest remote. While there are still adjustments being made, productivity has stayed the same for our good performers. Those who chose hybrid and didn't perform well in the office were exposed sooner and weeded out. Their managers could no longer substitute visibility for performance. At Filipinas Dravo Corporation, our Core Value of Team Excellence begins first with Individual Excellence.
💼 Exciting Job Opportunities! Join our dynamic team and be a part of our innovative journey! We are currently hiring for the following Hybrid Set-up Jobs: ✅ Accounting Assistant ✅ People and Culture Manager (HR) ✅ Recruitment Officer ✅ Bids Supervisor 🌐 Apply now using the link below: https://lnkd.in/gwQYSMmh Let's shape inclusive sustainability together! Don't miss out on the chance to be a key player in our growing company. Operations Manager at itelCX| Experienced Corporate Recruiter, High-level Executive Assistant and Customer Service Manager | Entrepreneur | Innovator
𝗟𝗲𝘁´𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 Lately, I've noticed a trend: Administrative Assistant positions with job descriptions that read like those for Executive Assistants. These roles are not the same, and it's crucial we use the correct titles. As an Executive Assistant, you take on all the tasks of an Administrative Assistant—and then some. Here's what sets an Executive Assistant apart: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: You'll juggle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each one is completed successfully. 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: You manage the demanding schedules of senior executives, overseeing their professional lives to ensure nothing is missed. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻: You act as the bridge between your executive and everyone else, including direct reports, vendors, and other executives. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: Your phone will be your constant companion, always buzzing with calls and messages. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘆: You must be wherever your executive is, ready to assist at a moment's notice. 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: In the executive's absence, you'll represent them, ensuring their presence is always felt. These points only scratch the surface of an Executive Assistant's responsibilities. The essence of the job lies in understanding the executive you support—anticipating their needs and preferences before they even realize them. This role demands precision and offers little room for error, but it also provides immense learning opportunities and exposure. 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗥 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲: Let's not blur the lines between these roles. An Administrative Assistant is not an Executive Assistant. Posting positions that require Executive Assistant skills should come with appropriate titles and salaries. #ExecutiveAssistant #AdministrativeAssistant #CareerAdvice #HR #Recruitment #JobTitles #ProfessionalGrowth

Most job descriptions will always end with "and other duties as assigned by the Management or Superiors". In my case, I was added a pile of work but I didn't complain. What that did to me was that it gave me knowledge of Sales, Marketing, Finance and Accounts, and Operations. Imagine an Administrative Manager, it was added that you will be picking up your boss's kids from school every day from 3 pm. It's part of other tasks assigned. #OgaHR
