As a Housing Experience Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating Scout, Director, Team Comp Rooms, and internal travel reservations. Your core responsibilities will include: • Organize travel reservations for Scouts, Directors, and Teams, securing timely and accurate bookings within the ARN reservation system for paid or comp room reservations. • Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to gather ARN hotel reservation confirmation numbers, deliver rooming lists promptly, and ensure timely processing of reservation adjustments. • Collaborate with our Customer Experience team to organize and collect data, ensuring adherence to all relevant policies by participating teams. • Support internal and external travelers with the ARN booking process and oversee team hotel reservations. • Keep the ARN system updated with the latest hotel and property contacts to ensure accuracy and efficiency. At Sign In Solutions we get to work with some of the coolest people in visitor management 😎 And by now we're confident you know the drill 😉 This week we've met up with Ryan Canby who is a Product Manager and works from our Toronto office (and sometimes from home, we're a hybrid company after all) 👇 🤱 How would your mom describe your job to her friends? He works with developers to figure out what the company should build. 💼 And what is it you actually do? I compile customer feedback and company strategy into feature sets, enhancements, and new product lines and break down the deliverables for each into bite size pieces of value. Then, with the feedback from internal and external stakeholders, I prioritize those deliverables alongside fixes to the existing product. And after all of that I work with the development team and make sure they understand what the top priority of work is and what the outcome should be. ❤️ What is the best part about your job at Sign In Solutions? The best part of working at Sign In Solutions is by far the people. I love being able to trust that everyone has good intentions and there is no need to worry about company politics. 🌎 Where is your favorite place to work from? I'll say my favorite place to work is from the office, but in reality it is more about working near my colleagues, wherever that may be. Being able to quickly ask and answer questions in a 30 second conversation is always way better than back and forth over email or slack. Also the jokes always make it a fun time! 🏠🏢 What is your primary reason for going to the office vs working from home? Working from home is way more convenient when my day is full of zoom meetings; I have my work desk set up exactly how I like it and there are no distractions (and no commute!). But working in the office is way better for interacting with my colleagues and just the cultural aspect of enjoying spending time with the people I work with. 🎂 If someone says they'll bring a treat to the office, what do you hope it is? I like being surprised. We have a thing on my team where we bribe each other with chocolate/treats if we are asking for something that is a little bit extra, so it is always fun to see exactly what the reward actually is.
