Are you one of those individuals who pay attention to the aesthetic look of their Instagram feed? If so, you'll be pleased to know that there's a new test feature that will be extremely useful to you. This feature takes me back to the time when people were creating Instagram feeds with a specific pattern. Each post graphic didn't look like much on its own, but created a pattern when added into the grid. However, the problem with this was that you had to add posts in groups of 3 to keep the pattern intact. If you posted something that wasn't part of the pattern, it threw the entire feed pattern into disarray. For most individuals, my advice is to keep it to an overall aesthetic. Stick to a general overall tone for your images, be consistent with your fonts, and keep your main colors in the same family. Do you pay attention to how your feed looks? Will this new feature matter to you? Share your thoughts in the comments below! #instagramfeed #instagrampreview #socialmediatips

Help us continue our mission towards a Boundless World. Creators, businesses, and agencies who use social platforms should keep accessibility at the forefront of their creations. Our best practice guidelines are easy to implement and can help you take the first steps towards removing barriers on social platforms that exclude people with low vision or blindness from the conversation. Asking yourself simple questions can help make social media a little easier for people with low vision or blindness to navigate, such as: Am I using standard or system fonts? Have I left tags and hashtags to the end of my caption? Did I check the accessibility advice for different platforms? Jump onto our website now using the link below and start making your social content accessible. https://bit.ly/4bMzcMc [Video description: a pink background with text that reads “this is what weird fonts sound like with a screen reader”. A white text box appears with text reading “your fancy fonts might look cool, but they make it really hard for people with blindness or low vision to get the full story”. The text box disappears and images of Guide Dogs Staff and Clients appear with the heading “social media is for everyone”. The images disappear and additional text appears that reads “so let’s make sure everyone can access it”. The Guide Dogs logo appears.] #GuideDogsAustralia #DigitalAccessibility #AccessibilityAwareness #Boundless
