🌏 Yesterday, my body was in Vilnius, but my spirit was totally in Stockholm! Thanks to the awesome initiative by LPS CLUB - Lithuanian professionals in Stockholm Club , we had a lively chat about entering the Swedish market for innovative and food industries. As a lawyer, I tried not to be the ultimate buzzkill. But let’s be real, you’ve got some homework to do before diving in: ✔ Check if your trademark is ok for Sweden ✔ Navigate product-specific regulations ✔ Meet sustainability requirements (those Swedes are serious about it) ✔ Taxes... yeah, that too 😅 And don't forget the big stuff: ✔ Choose a business structure that won’t make you personally liable ✔ Actually read those contracts you’re signing ✔ And make sure any disputes end up in Lithuanian courts but not Swedish.
