$20 to $1600 client . . . . . . A client reached out for an hour-long consultation to optimize their home page for mobile on Upwork. During our screenshare, I not only provided actionable insights but also demonstrated the potential of a well-optimized website in driving conversions. Impressed by the consultation, the client was open to my pitch when I suggested shifting his focus towards marketing while I handle the design and development. Our conversation evolved, and that initial $20 consultation turned into a comprehensive $1600 project! This transformation wasn't just about a financial win; it was about building trust, delivering value, and fostering a collaborative relationship. Here are my takeaways: 1. 🚀 Automation Success! 🚀 Just wrapped up a project where I helped streamline Trello and Google Drive integration using Zapier. The task was to automate the process of creating a new Google Drive folder whenever a new Trello card was created and automatically uploading attachments to the correct folder. 📂💼 Key Automations: 1️⃣ Automatically create a new folder in Google Drive for each Trello card. 2️⃣ Seamlessly upload attachments from Trello cards to the corresponding folder on Google Drive. Automation is a great way to eliminate daily repetitive tasks and free up time for more important work.
