Additional dedicated volunteers from the Yorktown Chamber will bring their expertise and experience in business, marketing and administrative excellence. The Yorktown Chamber has planned and executed countless successful events while increasing membership 100 percent in three years. This arrangement will provide access to a wealth of new venues and locations to utilize for events, to go with the broader audience and wealth of talent including access to the Jefferson Valley Mall to host popup shops, fairs and event spaces.  “We are confident that this consolidation will bring immense value to the members of both Chambers of Commerce and the businesses we serve,” said Carole Voisey, executive director of the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce. “Over the coming months, we will be developing the most efficient and effective plan to move forward. Yorktown CoC and HVGCoC will ensure that this merger has a smooth transition and will integrate our operations with a maximized benefit to all of our members.”

A typical business must have a point of attraction either in form of an offer or benefit. People need to see why they shouldn't miss out on doing business with you or buying your product because fear of missing out is a thing even in business. On one of my evening strolls in Asaba, I came across this event center and it caught my attention. This enormous compound will stand out for me because to me it was well planned, the hall is big but the parking lot for event guests is even bigger. I have always been concerned for big event centres with no provision for parking thereby causing road congestion as most event guests park along the road. Planning really goes a long way in business and it in turn affects your revenue either in increase or decrease. Plan that venture carefully and go for best possible standards if you want your business to be profitable and sustainable. #DoBusinessBetter
