We’re thrilled to share that we’re partnering with award-winning adaptive designer and disability advocate, Victoria Jenkins as part of the next stage in our journey to make Primark a more accessible place to work and shop, which includes making adaptive fashion more accessible and affordable.   With over a decade of experience in the fashion industry, Victoria is dedicated to normalising universal design through her personal journey with disability. As the founder of the award-winning adaptive fashion brand Unhidden, Victoria has been recognised by British Vogue in its annual Vogue 25 list and named the second most influential disabled person on The Shaw Trust Disability Power 100.   Back in January we launched our first adaptive underwear range – we’ve learnt a lot from that first small collection and we’re now excited to collaborate with Victoria to accelerate our mission of bringing affordable, adaptive fashion to the high street. Hello Bray! This morning, we were joined by Emer Higgins, Minister of State with responsibility for Business, Employment and Retail, as we opened our 38th store in Ireland, located in Bray Central in Co. Wicklow. We’ve invested €4 million in this much anticipated store, creating 100 jobs locally. Best of all, it comes as we celebrate our 55th anniversary this month, since opening our first Penneys store on Mary Street in 1969. #Primark #newstoreopening

Hello Virginia 💙   We’ve opened our first store in the state of Virginia at Tysons Corner Center. Take a look behind the scenes at this morning's #Primania as we opened the doors to our new store and welcomed customers to our 25th Primark in the US. Our next store in the US will be Orlando, Florida! Keep your eyes peeled for our opening date which will be announced very soon…  

We’re working to support and enhance the lives of the people in our supply chain, starting with those who make our clothes.    The workplace can play a valuable role in opening discussions around mental well-being to help remove stigmas and support the improved wellbeing of workers and managers alike. Our My Space programme in India: https://lnkd.in/eSSySWwD, in collaboration with St John’s Medical College, Bangalore: https://lnkd.in/eXCYTmye, is an example of the way that we can drive behavioural change and extend support for mental health to the workers in our supply chain.   My Space supports the establishment of basic counselling services in factories to help those struggling with mental health issues by training of selected factory staff by medical professionals from St Johns and engaging with workers and managers to reduce the stigma around talking about mental health.   You can read more about programme in Primark Ethics and Sustainability Progress Report: https://lnkd.in/edmUCVHA #Primark
