🚀 Exciting Day in Indy - RALLY is here! Jim McIntosh is attending the RALLY conference in Indianapolis today, representing Primary Record! Jim's journey in tech shows the power of community and returning to your roots. After graduating from Purdue University, he moved west and played a key role at Backcountry during the dot-com boom. But the pull of family brought him back to Indiana, where he’s shaped the #Indiana tech landscape through his work at ExactTarget, Octiv (Formerly TinderBox) and Mimir HQ. Jim has been a driving force in shaping the #Indiana tech landscape. Now, at Primary Record Jim is partnering with Jean Ross, RN to take care coordination to new levels, especially for families with special needs—a mission that’s deeply personal for Jim. He also gives back as a volunteer with Nextech (nonprofit) and the First Call Program at Down Syndrome Indiana! Jim's story is a powerful reminder of the incredible opportunities right here in the Hoosier State. Connect with Jim at the conference today, and don’t miss out on a personal demo of Primary Record's latest product at Rally Happy Hour at 16 Tech Innovation District with Boomerang Ventures! #TechInnovation #IndianaTech #StartupLife #CommunityMatters #PrimaryRecord #HoosierTech #Entrepreneurship

Sup Friends! I'm thrilled to share some significant developments in my professional journey and the evolution of Mercurious Inc Inc. 🌟 Firstly, I am proud to announce our partnership with Intellident Technologies! This collaboration marks an exciting step forward for both our organizations as we join forces to bring innovative solutions to our clients. Stay tuned for more updates on how this partnership will enhance our offerings and drive growth. On a personal note, I've decided to shift my focus entirely towards Mercurious Inc., a move driven by my passion for changing and shaping diverse communities. I'll still be doing art projects and installations, but right now Mercurious Inc. will be taking up the majority of my time. I heavily believe in creating job opportunities by providing businesses with the financial empowerment, mentorship, and tools they need to succeed. 🤝 To further this mission, we are currently working on a funding round aimed at being delivered as an economic development project to 50 qualifying businesses in our community. We will help each business scale and, in turn, empower local communities with more job opportunities. This initiative is not just about growth; it's about fostering a thriving ecosystem where businesses and communities can prosper together. 🌍 Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to sharing more updates on our progress and the exciting initiatives we have in store. Let's continue to drive positive change and make a lasting impact! 💼✨ If you want to support our vision and get involved, check out our community GoFundMe campaign: https://gofund.me/56846481 #MercuriousInc #Partnership #CommunityEmpowerment #BusinessGrowth #FinancialEmpowerment #Innovation #JobCreation

For the veterans and veteran families in my network, I just got this email from The University of Texas at San Antonio, SBDC Technology Commercialization Center. The center is sharing a unique funding opportunity specifically designed for U.S. Military Veterans and military spouses who have ideas for potential new companies. Builders + Backers is offering an innovative and free Idea Accelerator Program through their Pebble Fund. This program is perfect for entrepreneurial dreamers who want to turn their ideas into real-world ventures. Accepted participants will receive up to $5,000 to test their ideas, along with free assistance from Builders + Backers’ Venture Studio. Why should you consider applying? - No business plan required: You don't need a pitch deck or business entity to apply. The program welcomes anyone with a novel idea, whether it’s a high-tech app, platform, or a Main Street business idea. - Reserved spots for U.S. Military Veterans and spouses: Thanks to generous support from The Varady Family Foundation, Antares Capital, and Global Entrepreneurship Network, special spots are reserved for the military community. - Virtual program with national reach: You’ll join a cohort of participants from across the country, gaining access to top-notch mentorship and $5,000 in non-dilutive funding to bring your idea to life. Who can join? - U.S. Military Veterans and spouses with an idea. - Anyone living in Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, or Detroit is also eligible for reserved spots. I have a new title to add to my CV. I am now the former CEO of IMOGENT GmbH. And what a journey it’s been! 🛫 Starting in 2018 with Peer Bausch in garage33 (the teenager photo was not taken on the day of our graduation, but right after we had won one of our first big clients), 🚀 Growing fast and refining in 2019 with Founders Foundation gGmbH, 💪 Facing challenges but succeeding during Covid in 2020, 📈 5x revenue growth and exit in 2021/2022, ↘ Crisis in the Real Estate market in 2023 (any questions why founders compare founding to a roller coaster ride?), 🤝 And finally merging the company with BACKBONE and by this forming a new market leader in the DACH-region in 2024. The latter one was the perfect end to my journey with IMOGENT! I have decided to move on to new challenges! It is incredibly hard to explain how grateful I am to everyone who has contributed and been part of the ride, including the IMOGENT-team, investors, advisors, friends and family. Thanks to the entire IMOGENT team including (but not limited to) Daniel Druchleben, Igor Bursac, Milena Seil, Katharina Scharping, Nhu Pham, Sarah Brochhaus, Thomas Oelßner, Friederike Hofmann, Henriette Kracht and everyone who should feel addressed right now. Thanks for making the whole journey possible, for great work and great parties and above all for honest feedback to learn and grow from! You also made it possible that IMOGENT has had an incredible team atmosphere throughout, which is confirmed by an outstanding self-termination rate of less than 2%. Thanks to everyone who supported with highly valuable advice and mentoring including Markus Sudhoff, Eva Mettenmeier, Sebastian Borek, Dominik Gross, Jens Brakhage, Sarah Maria Schlesinger, Alexander Ubach-Utermöhl, Lukas Linn, Sebastian Schöneburg, Christopher Schnell, Ludwig Wiesbauer, Jan Engelhardt and so many more. To all founders out there: If I had to attest to one quality, it would be the ability to remain resilient, to manage a business through tough times and to build a team that sticks together in good times but especially during bad times. I know how tough some days are so whenever you're struggling, feel free to reach out for free advice! And what happens next? I love entrepreneurship. And just as it is a blacksmith's destiny to build a metal tool, I see it as my destiny to build a business. Stay tuned for more. If you are reading this and looking for a co-founder, partner or just an advice on the subject, let's talk! ____ Ioannis Kabaroudis, Sarmad Parvez, Jakob Naurath, Nandeesh Patel, Bruno Gomes, Philipp Götza, Fabian Neumann, Sabine Hering, Ram Divaraniya, Joyce Hanson, Raxa Gal and many more (reaching the limit for tagging people)

Blue Whale EV is excited to have been nominated as an Honoree of this year’s Baltimore Business Journal’s 2024 Inno Fire Awards in the Baltimore region. This year's honorees reflect the constantly changing Maryland technology ecosystem. Maryland Inno takes a big tent approach to innovation. These awards celebrate technology-focused companies ranging from startups to nonprofit institutions. An innovative company is not necessarily just a firm that creates a new invention but also encompasses companies that take an existing technology and use it in a new way. This year's awardees range from an organization building new ways to monitor seizures to a nonprofit using virtual reality to help train people for new jobs in the automotive industry. The eight winners from three different categories will be honored at the Inno Fire Awards ceremony on July 11 at the CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield tower in Canton and two honorees will be selected as this year's Blazer Award winners. https://bizj.us/1qldlr #InnoFireAwards2024 #EVChargingSolutions #bluewhaleEV #EVInfrastructure #CleanEnergy
