🚀 Yesterday, I attended an insightful breakfast at Primary Venture Partners, hosted by the incredible Cassie Young & Rebecca Price, on "First Team Thinking"! One key takeaway: Leaders often prioritize supporting their direct reports over their fellow leaders, leading to a celebration of vanity metrics rather than real business results. This resonates with me as I see a significant gap in the market in aligning sales and marketing leadership, sales and customer success collaboration, and product and sales solutions based on customer feedback. For instance, if churn is your #1 issue, it doesn’t matter that marketing thinks they are crushing it with increased qualified leads this month. It’s about cohesive strategies and real impact that drives the larger business results. This is a big focus of my new venture, BOSS Executive Advisory & C-Suite Consulting. I'm dedicated to driving success through B2B GTM strategy, aligning teams, and fostering social selling and thought leadership expertise.
