Recently I’ve been on number of viewings at @thewhiteleylondon and I simply have to share - if these walls could talk, they’d probably brag! 🏛️ Picture this: £3 billion being poured into the neighborhood (yes, you read that right), and The Whiteley sitting right at the heart of it. Had a rather discerning American buyer from across the pond last week who walked in skeptical and left... well, let’s just say I saw that familiar “I need to call my accountant immediately” look 😏 Smart money knows timing is everything! Here’s the thing - in my years in prime London property, you develop a #sixthsense for what’s about to pop. Bayswater isn’t just changing - it’s having its main character moment. And The Whiteley? It’s basically the season finale everyone’s going to be talking about over dinner at Scott’s. Great article highlighting the potential pitfalls of proposed housing policies. However, a crucial aspect all parties seem to overlook is the need to improve regulations for strata properties. While parties promote housing booms and affordability plans, they fail to address how to effectively scale strata housing - a significant component of new developments in B.C. Florida's recent experiences with the lack of HOA (Home Owner Associations, aka 'stratas') regulations serve as a cautionary tale, where neglected maintenance has led to catastrophic failures. B.C. needs to proactively review its strata housing framework to: 1. Ensure safety for owners and residents 2. Improve operational efficiency for strata councils and more.. Addressing these issues is crucial for the sustainability and safety of B.C.'s growing strata housing sector.

Campaigns like this really work, and there are three main reasons why: ✅️ Culturally relevant and timely ✅️ Entertaining ✅️ Unexpected Right now, political parties of all stripes are busy pushing election slogans, and so getting in on the action with something like this plays into that nicely. It's also funny, which helps to create positive brand associations. And, lastly, it's totally different to anything other estate agents produce, which achieves two things: firstly, it makes it very noticeable and, secondly, it's more likely to be remembered. So, next time someone in Michael Bailey's patch is looking to sell a house and wants an estate agent, he's likely to come to mind more easily "you know, the guy who did that spoof election campaign, Michael Bailey. That really made me laugh. He seems pretty sound." Job done. But there's more: it subtly says to potential sellers "if he's this good at marketing, imagine how good he's going to be at marketing your house." It's a brilliant example of clever brand marketing, and I wouldn't mind betting that there are a lot of his peers looking at this and wishing they'd done it! 👏👏👏
