Our Loudon, TN plant's Professional Women's Group hosted a successful bake sale in support of Loudon County Family Resource Center this past week. Together, with community support, they raised $800 which our Primient Covation team has generously matched! Our donation will help to fund food programs for children in need across Loudon County. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this important cause!

Talking about the technology is one thing - learning about how the technology can be implemented with Life Connection of Ohio to help change the trajectory of peoples lives takes it to another level. So impressed with altafiber's commitment to using this technology to help solve various issues companies are facing, regardless of industry. And to think, we are only at the very beginning of this journey. John Scola Mike LaGue, BSEE, CPM, WCP Dan Mazza

This Giving Tuesday, let's take a moment to reflect on a significant trend in philanthropy. Adjusting for inflation, charitable giving in 2022 saw a decrease of 10.5%, primarily driven by a reduction in individual donations. This reduction impacts nonprofit organizations that rely on these contributions to make a difference in our communities. As you consider your end-of-year giving, remember there are many ways to give, and even the smallest donation can make an impact.

According to an analysis released yesterday in conjunction with a project called BIG JOY, people who engage in daily acts of #kindness or #gratitude experience a lift in emotional well-being, positive emotions like hope and optimism, become happier and have improved relationships. This #nationalphilanthropyday, what act can you do that will lift your spirits? Need an idea? Check out how you can help your community through your local DG store below! (More on the Big Joy project: https://lnkd.in/gA7k3rs6)
From DG’s Feeding America partnership to our St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Thanks and Giving campaign, this #nationalphilanthropyday we celebrate the many ways our teams exhibit the Company’s mission of #ServingOthers. For the upcoming holiday season, join us in exhibiting kindness as we collect toys for local nonprofits to distribute to children in need at each of our ~20,000 stores through December 8. Dollar General is here for what matters and will also be donating $100,000 to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. 🌟 Exciting News: Supporting Our Veterans 🌟 We are proud to announce our recent collaboration with Team #6 of Leadership Green Bay in their remarkable initiative alongside Veterans 1st of Northeast Wisconsin. Together, we are dedicated to making a significant difference in the lives of veterans facing housing insecurity in our community. 🏡 The Vision: Creating a supportive community for our veterans, the project envisions the construction of 21 cottage homes and a Community Center. This initiative is not just about providing shelter but also about fostering a sense of belonging and support among those who served our country. 🛠 Our Contribution: To aid in the realization of this noble cause, our focus has been on fundraising efforts to construct a carriage house. This essential structure will serve as a central storage facility for tools and materials during the construction phase and later transition to a maintenance and storage hub for the residents and the community. 🤝 Why It Matters: By supporting this project, we're not only contributing to the physical structure of a community but also reinforcing the foundation of support and gratitude for our veterans. It's our way of giving back to those who have given so much. We invite our network to join us in this endeavor, whether through contributions, sharing this message, or volunteering. Together, we can make a substantial impact on the lives of veterans in need. Individual donations can be made here: https://lnkd.in/geS2mgen
What a remarkable feeling it is to get members of our own Green Bay Community to come together for Team #6 project! We are greatful for all the outreach our project has gained. Thank you so much to Fairchild Equipment for their generous donation! We are still accepting new sponsors. Reach out if you would like more information. Such an incredible milestone... Over the past 8 years, I've spent most of my time on initiatives that reduce the cost of financial advice and services so more people can access them. This is a 💯 example of how software is making that a reality. It's also why we've built Estately specifically for financial advisors and their clients right on top of the most used estate planning software in the US. Get estate planning done for your clients here: www.getestately.com #financialplanning #wealthmanagement #fintech #personalfinance
We’re thrilled to announce that we have officially helped 1 MILLION people create their legacies with a free estate plan! Since 2016, FreeWill has worked with nonprofit organizations to provide free access to our online estate planning tools. Along the way, we’ve partnered with over 1,500 incredible nonprofits to drive over $9.6 billion to charity through legacy gifts. We are so proud of this milestone in our mission to raise $1 trillion for charity. Thank you to our nonprofit partner community and will-makers who have trusted FreeWill to secure their futures through estate planning!
