#RootedIn Inclusion 🌈 Pride month may have ended, but at Primient, we celebrate diversity every day of the year! Recently, to recognize Pride at our global shared service center in Łódź, Poland, teams participated in workshops on diversity and inclusion management led by Eliza Gaust. Participants tested their knowledge of LGBTQIA+ culture in music and competed for exciting prizes! A big thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to making this event so special!

#TheMorningInclusive Pride Started as a Riot, Let Us Not Forget As the sun rises on a new day, let’s boldly acknowledge that Pride Month ignited from the embers of rebellion. It began not with a parade, but with a riot—a fierce stand against systemic oppression and violence faced by the LGBTIQ+ community. The Stonewall Riots of June 1969 were a defiant outcry for dignity and equality, marking the birth of a movement that would echo around the world – PRIDE! This origin story is crucial—it’s a powerful reminder that the freedom to be our authentic selves is not a given—it’s a right that was fought for. Pride Month is not just about parades and celebrations; it’s a time to remember the struggles and to honor the courage of those who stood up for the right to live openly and truthfully. Inclusivity means creating a society where everyone can be their bold, authentic selves regardless of their identity. It’s about valuing each person’s unique contributions and ensuring that all voices are heard and respected. We foster innovation, empathy, and a deeper cultural understanding when we embrace diversity. The quest for belonging is deeply woven into the fabric of our being. It’s where we find comfort in being seen, where our voices resonate with others, and where our existence is affirmed. Belonging empowers us to face adversity, contribute meaningfully to society, and weave our lives' narrative. It’s the foundation upon which we build our lives and pursue our dreams. As we commemorate Pride Month, let’s recommit to the pursuit of an inclusive world—a world where the right to belong isn’t just accepted, it’s celebrated. Let’s honor the legacy of those who rioted for change by continuing their fight, ensuring that every day is a step toward a society that embraces every individual. We must continue to push for progress, not just in June but every day, because every step towards inclusivity is a step towards a more vibrant, innovative, and compassionate world. Here’s to the rioters, the trailblazers, and the dreamers. Here’s to a future where everyone belongs. Happy Pride Month! #LGBTIQ #Pride #Authenticity #HumanRights #Belonging #Inclusion #Diversity #Equity #Accessibility NOTE: This image was created with Copilot to summarize this text

It is Pride month again! One thing I learnt this year was that the Q in LGBTQIA+ could as well be Questioning for an Ally. The journey from a bystander to an ally is not an Immediate transition. There are questions, debates, self doubt and survival instincts that kick in especially when it is time to take a stand or voice an opinion. Standing up for someone else is not easy! It takes practice. You may be at one of these many places: 1. From the LGBTQIA+ community dreading what this month is going to bring in the name of allyship 2. An active ally, walking on a thin line between fake pandering corporates and the real deal 3. A seasonal Ally who remembers having pledged to do more than add a rainbow to your display pic every Pride month 4. A new Ally, highly inspired to start a new journey. 5. A bystander wondering what the fuss is all about Wherever you are, you have my empathy. Because everyone is trying! Take one empathetic action this month that moves you closer to being an Active Ally and closer to creating an inclusive environment! Chandra Duraiswamy thanks for getting the ball rolling! #ArchesInTheRainbow

Security Investigations and Assessment Lead, APAC at Google | Past President at Asia Pacific Association of Threat Assessment Professionals
While Pride Month is a time for celebration and visibility, allyship isn’t just for 30 days - it’s a year-round journey of learning, understanding, and advocating. Think about what you can do to create a more inclusive workplace and show up as a strong ally and advocate. - Go beyond surface-level understanding of LGBTQIA+ history, terminology, and current issues, and explore the diversity within the community. - Challenge discriminatory jokes, microaggressions, and exclusionary behaviour when you encounter them. Use your voice to amplify LGBTQIA+ voices and create a culture of respect. - Advocate for inclusive policies, celebrate LGBTQIA+ contributions, and create opportunities for open dialogue. Allyship is a process, not a destination. Let’s all work together to create inclusive workplaces - not just this month, but always. #pridemonth #allyship #inclusion #diversity #lifeatgoogle

Happy Pride Month! It’s a time for us to celebrate the contributions and joy of our LGBTQIA+ colleagues and community. At Challenger, we like to lead with our values, and we believe in creating a culture that is open and safe for everyone. We’re debuting a special version of our logo and an updated LinkedIn banner, plus an email signature for our employees to use throughout the month. Symbols like these matter. But what matters more is going beyond artwork to listen, reflect, and take action. That’s why we’ll also be sharing stories from our Challenger community, reflecting on what Pride means to them, on our website throughout this month and at events in our offices, like our trip to the Chicago Cubs’ Pride Night on June 17. Society today is deeply polarized, and many members of the queer community feel less safe than they did a few years ago, as they face harassment, rhetoric, and increasingly, legislation that limits their rights and access to health care and support. Some companies engage in rainbow-washing or choose not to acknowledge Pride because they’re afraid of criticism, boycotts, and in some extreme cases, violence. I understand that fear, but giving into it doesn’t lead to anything positive. We don’t always get it right, but we’re willing to listen and learn. It’s important to embrace vulnerability as leaders, welcome authenticity, and focus on listening and building spaces where people feel comfortable and can bring their whole selves to work. That’s the culture we want to foster here, and one that allows our LGBTQIA+ colleagues to feel like they belong not just in June, but every day. Tell me how you honor Pride at your organization in the comments!

Story Strategist and Narrative Coach | Co-Founder, Imaginable Impact | Inclusion, Social Impact, Gender Equity
Despite our best efforts, we can get allyship wrong. So wrong. But I was relieved when I was told, “It’s okay to make mistakes. Just keep asking us questions if you want to understand.” We were at a safe space gathering, as part of our work as Imaginable Impact. I had admitted to being unclear about how to do good by the LBGTQIA+ community as we moved deeper into our DEI work. I look at Pride Month content and stories, and I see a lot of rainbows. A lot of of celebrations. But not a lot of conversations. So what is allyship? Or what is it NOT? ❌Tokenism ❌ Featuring LGBTQIA+ individuals in Pride campaigns or as the designated queer representative, but not in broader campaigns, policy making spaces, or actual leadership positions ❌Seasonal Support ❌ What happens after Pride month? Real allies make consistent effort to push for change and progress all year long ❌Performative Gestures ❌ Sure, it’s nice to add a banner or provide a Pride version of your company logo, but if there is no substantive work that helps members in the community, this is all for show ❌Cheap Talk ❌ “I’m pro-LGBT because I know someone” is not allyship. Without efforts at true empathy through conversation, advocacy, and education – for yourself and others – then it’s all empty words. Meanwhile, there are so many other ways to stand up as a real ally. My commitment is to speak louder for the LGBTQIA+ community and work harder to amplify their voices. Because I cannot talk #inclusion if it is not inclusion for all. I asked some community members to get us started. Paulie Durig, CHyp, Bam T., Camille Q. Ramos, MMC, and Nonito Cabrera Jr. gave actionable steps on allyship that matters. They have more to say, naturally, so I encourage you to build on this conversation. In fact, talk to your friends, co-workers, neighbors, classmates, siblings. Everyone. And listen. Ask questions. Pay attention. Happy Pride! Let’s keep each other safe, and promote dignity for all.

At Fortrea, we're committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. We kicked off Pride celebrations with a powerful discussion on intersectionality within the LGBTQIA+ community. Hosted by our PRIDE, PULSE, and WEN Global Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), the forum explored the often-uncomfortable topic of what it means to be both Black and LGBTQIA+. By having open and honest conversations about these experiences, we aim to: • Build understanding: We believe fostering empathy across identities strengthens our community. • Create a safer platform: When we discuss challenging topics, we can create a more inclusive space for all. • Develop strong allyship: True allyship requires understanding the unique experiences of others. We're grateful to our guest speaker, Paige J. Gardner, PhD, Assistant Dean for Graduate Student Success, College of Education at Seattle University, along with the employees who shared their lived experiences. Their stories will inspire further conversations and a more inclusive workplace for everyone. https://lnkd.in/g4Tva-4s #PrideMonth #Intersectionality #DiversityandInclusion #Fortrea

As we celebrate this vibrant and empowering month, it’s important to remember the significance of pride and the impact it has on so many. Visibility & Representation: Pride Month provides a platform for LGBTQIA+ individuals to be seen and heard. Representation matters, and seeing diverse identities celebrated helps to normalize and validate the experiences of LGBTQIA+ people. Community & Support: Pride events and activities foster a sense of community and belonging. They offer a safe space for people to connect, share their stories, and support one another. Advocacy & Education: Pride month is an opportunity to educate others and advocate for equal rights. It highlights the ongoing struggles and achievements of the LGBTQIA+ community, paving the way for a more inclusive and accepting society. Self-Expression & Authenticity: Being able to be yourself without fear of judgement or discrimination is crucial for mental and emotional well-being. Inspiration & Empowerment: Seeing others live authentically and proud can inspire and empower individuals to embrace their own identities. Continue to support and uplift one another. Not just during Pride month, but all year round. Together, we can create a world where everyone feels safe and free to be themselves 🌈🏳️⚧️

Something that I have learned through being a part of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Core team, is the importance of taking accountability and responsibility to educate myself. Learning in bite size chunks is a great way of doing this, and following the Diversity calendar of events is a good way to prompt that learning. Etex follows a communications content plan to prompt and suggest topics, we encourage teammates to share stories about their experienced through our "Teammate stories" that can inspire others too. June has been Pride month, and you might wonder why June? Where did this originate? How did it get sarted? What does this month draw attention to? I found interesting resources which I will share. I hope to inspire you to join me in the learning journey. So, first this one: https://lnkd.in/gNCN_SYk

Equity and inclusion is always front of my mind in my daily life, no more so than during Pride month. But what can you do when Pride Month is over? Turns out, there is a lot and you don't have to wait another 11 months to focus on #Pride and #Inclusion ☺️ As an ally, I've looked at how all of us can take meaningful actions to create an inclusive environment (anywhere, not just the workplace): 📖 Educate yourself on LGBTQI+ issues. 🗣️ Speak up against discrimination. ♥️ Use inclusive language. 🏳️🌈 Support LGBTQI+ initiatives. 📣 Be visible and vocal in your support. 👂 Listen and offer support. 🛡️ Promote a safe and inclusive workplace At Dimply, we recently reflected on our internal policies and introduced enhanced Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Policy, Social Value Policy, and "The One Dimply Way."
