Congratulations to Jazz Pharmaceuticals on their EU approval of Enrylaze® for use as a component of a multi-agent chemotherapeutic regimen for the treatment of adult and pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia and lymphoblastic lymphoma! Enrylaze®, approved as Rylaze® in the US and Canada, is a critical medication for patients who are hypersensitive or have silent inactivation to E. coli-derived asparaginase. Using Primrose Bio’s Pseudomonas fluorescens expression platform for the production of Enrylaze® (the Pfenex Expression Technology®), these patients have assured access to this medication having proved challenging to produce in other expression systems. #cancer #leukemia #lymphoma
