Many biotherapeutic, gene therapy and vaccine development companies have adopted the principals of #synthetic biology and integrated a design-build-test-learn (DBTL) approach in their #protein engineering and #gene editing techniques. This relies on NGS validation of thousands of synthetic constructs. To eliminate NGS library prep bottlenecks, seqWell is introducing ExpressPlex™ HT for ultra-high throughput sequencing of plasmids and synthetic constructs using a 384-well format, 6144 indices and a 90-minute, automated workflow. Say goodbye to NGS library prep bottlenecks. #NGS #libraryprep #seqWell https://lnkd.in/e-CqiRaH

Group Leader at Institute of Medical Genetics, Center for Pathobiochemistry and Genetics, Medical University of Vienna
I am happy to share a new study from our group (Medical University of Vienna) in collaboration with Martin Koš (University of Heidelberg) on 2'-O-ribose methylations of ribosomal #RNA in cellular #senescence and quiescence that was just published in the Journal of Cell Science (The Company of Biologists). Below is a summary of our main findings, and here is a link to the main article: https://lnkd.in/d3GRhAN6. Many thanks to all authors and the JCS editors and staff for excellent support during the publication process. #ribosome, #epitranscriptome, #aging

Now, we’re excited to highlight another achievement from our 𝗩𝗛𝗛 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗯𝗼𝘅. 🔍 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗘𝟰-𝟭/𝗭𝟳𝟬 : This nanobody, derived from the same selection family as F8-2, represents another breakthrough ! Through an innovative intrabodization process, E4-1, also known as Z70, was optimized to specifically bind to the Tau aggregation epitope PHF6. It effectively inhibits Tau aggregation 𝑖𝑛 𝑣𝑖𝑡𝑟𝑜, 𝑖𝑛 𝑐𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑢𝑙𝑜, and 𝑖𝑛 𝑣𝑖𝑣𝑜 after delivery via a viral system. This significant work, published by Isabelle Landrieu and Luc Buee’s team in Molecular Therapy, highlights another facet of our VHH technology’s potential.
