Today marks the completion of the first part of an 8-day intensive training session on knitting at Concept Knitting. While many of the fundamentals—such as yarn path diagrams, gauge and count relations, and needle timing—are grounded in my academic background, this training has advanced my understanding to a more practical level. Key areas I focused on during this session include: - Optimizing stitch length settings for diverse fabric types. - Advanced machine setups for feeder stripes, rib, and fleece. - Lycra feeding systems. - Gaining a deeper understanding of one side and both side velour mechanisms. - Fine-tuning the VDQ pulley function and the gearing system of knitting machines. As part of the central R&D team of Masco Group, this deeper expertise is essential for driving innovation in fabric development, improving swatch analysis, and making informed decisions quickly and accurately. Looking forward to applying these refined techniques in upcoming projects! 🚀 #TextileEngineering #AdvancedKnitting #R&DInnovation #FabricDesign #ProfessionalGrowth #ContinuousLearning
