When you wake up at 5am with a head full of the tasks that need to be done. You can either A. Go back to sleep and pretend they are not there. Or B. Get up and tackle them head on. This morning I went with B. So far I have: - Emptied the dishwasher - Chopped all the veg for the slow cooker chilli - I will make it when the other Phillips' are awake. - Dropped the bottom draw of the fridge onto the floor making an almighty crash 🫣 Shhhh Whoops! - Made a cup of tea - Replied to some emails - Written my jobs list for today - Re written yesterday's team meeting notes out, so I actually know what needs to be done. Now I have 45 minutes before the rest of the house starts getting up and moving, I know exactly what piece of work can be finished. 🌟 A lot will get done today, I can feel it. What is on your must do list for today? #GetLogical #BusinessOwner #BusyLife #OnAMission

Creative Head with a Heart that cooperates, a Body that follows and a Soul that guides. Multiple Cannes Lion winner!
“Software Engineer” Wife: “Today maid isn’t coming, so we’ll have to do the dishes. In fact I’ve a day long meeting” “Creative Director” Husband:“No issues. I’ll do it. You attend your meeting!” “Software Engineer” Wife: “Are you sure? Can you manage?” “Creative Director” Husband: ”Yes. I’m sure it’ll be better than dealing with my clients” “Software Engineer” Wife :”How’s that? “Creative Director” Husband: “Well if were washing the dishes for the client, looking at the dishes, he’d ask for options and , these are the possible reactions he’d have. Did you try using hot water? Did you try cold water before you used hot water? Why did you use so much water. We need to save water. Can you wash again and try saving some water? Why is it smelling like chicken. I ate dosa in it. Why isn’t it smelling like lemon. The new detergent has it. Why isn’t it smelling like rose or jasmine? Bathing soaps have so many fragrances? Why is this white plate looking little off white. Can I see another white option? Say, bone white Or pearl white? I can see you scrubbed it anti clockwise. Can you once try clockwise? Isn’t the round plate looking little oval? When I bought it, I could see the reflection of my face in it. What have you done to my face? I don’t think you’re getting what I’m saying. Forget it, I’ve bought a new set of plates. You keep the old ones. #Clients #JustForFun #Advertising #Agencylife #options #dishwasher

Communicating Hope 🌍 | Organic marketing for NGOs, Social Cause, and Social Impact orgs | Now: Marketing & Communications Coordinator at Think Africa | Increase your mission's impact — contact me for services 👀
When you are "not there yet", it is easy to postpone some things. For example, for the past few years I wanted to get slightly long fake nails. It was not allowed since I was working with food. I've changed to the office work completely 3 months ago. I had my first ever visit to a nail salon only last week — I went on postponing it, even though I wanted it. Turned out it was easy to postpone something joyful and prioritise "more important" things in life. Luckily my partner brough me back to earth reminding that I had always been saying that I would do nails if I quit restaurant work. Without that reminder I don't know when it would have happened. It made me think how many more things I am probably still postponing even though have absolute right to accomplish. Was I subconsciously postponing my marketing career, for example? Do you have your version of the "nail salon visit" you've been unnecessarily postponing?
