It’s National Organization Month 📦 Here are 5 simple organization tips to transform your home into a clutter-free, serene space: 1. Remove Everything: Start fresh by clearing out the space you’re working on. Empty closets, drawers, or cabinets to create a blank canvas. 2. Decide What to Discard: Keep only what you truly need, use, and love. Toss the rest into a discard pile to avoid unnecessary clutter. 3. Sort for Donation or Sale: Give your items a second life by donating or selling things you no longer need. A great way to help others while simplifying your space. 4. Organize by Category: Group similar items together—whether it’s neatly folded clothes or labeled pantry containers—to make your space both functional and visually appealing. 5. Maintain the Momentum: Dedicate just 15 minutes a day to tidying up or tackling one small area. Small steps add up to big results over time! A well-organized home isn’t just about aesthetics—it creates a sense of calm and clarity, making it easier to enjoy your space. Thinking of finding a new home to organize and call your own? Six Imperatives in Tidying Up Your Home & Embracing Beauty + Utility Inspired by Oscar Wilde’s timeless wisdom: "Have nothing in your house that is not useful or beautiful." Transform your home into a harmonious space with these easy tips: Declutter Ruthlessly Let go of items that no longer serve a purpose or bring joy. Start with one drawer or corner and work your way through. Organize by Function Group similar items together—create zones for work, relaxation, and entertainment. A place for everything, and everything in its place! Highlight Beautiful Pieces Showcase artwork, heirlooms, or statement decor. These items reflect your personality and add warmth to your home. Refresh Your Space Let the light in, add fresh flowers, or change up pillow covers and throws to bring new life into your rooms. Donate What You Don’t Use Give items a second life by donating them to someone in need. It’s a win-win for you and your community! Adopt a “One In, One Out” Rule For every new item you bring into your home, donate or recycle something old. This keeps your space balanced and clutter-free. Interested in buying or selling? This is a great article that is spot on about how and why to downsize. We help our clients do it everyday. It takes patience and creativity to think of what you can reuse, reinvent, and recycle. Separating your belongings into 3 categories as you prepare for any move, but especially downsizing is crucial: what can fit, what can be resold, and what could be donated. In other words, as the article mentions, "you must be willing to rethink, reshuffle, and pivot!" Hiring a move manager and professional organizers are well worth the money! They can save you from the physical and emotional exhaustion a move can cause. We love helping our clients with all of the process! https://lnkd.in/e7Q_kJg7

I’m looking for 20 residential interior designers who want business or design practice advice on a business problem in July or August. It’s £30 for a 30 minute slot, with all money going to St Michael’s Hospice in Hereford. Smallprint: I don’t promise not to mention Bootcamp :-) but I do promise to spend almost all the time focused on your particular business or practice issue, and I will do my very best to help you. If you need help managing a client situation, thinking about your ideal client, attracting that client, planning your business, working out a fee proposal, how to integrate AI into your business, or pretty much anything else interior design related (but not how to work with layers in AutoCAD!), or if you want to chat to me about Bootcamp - with zero obligation - then book here: https://lnkd.in/evM_NQGU
