Ex Associate HR at Do iT Lean India Pvt Ltd | Ex Deputy Manager Band 2 at ICICI Bank Ltd

Hello Folks, I have been getting messages from freshers to enquire about #ICICIBank #POprogram. With the intention to guide all those who needs it, let me share my opinion. It is going to be a bit longer as I want to touch as many aspects as I can Having attended this program and being an ICICI Bank's alumini ,I can say that freshers can very much opt for it keeping certain points in mind. 1. There is a training of 9 months in ICICI Manipal academy , wherein candidates get stay, food and some stipend. 2. You get to sign a agreement wherein you can be placed anywhere and in any department. Choice to choose location is being asked but it may or may not be considered. 3. There are several front end and back end departments. I was initially placed in Head Office located in Hyderabad and then I opted for marriage transfer in Mumbai. and In my opinion head offices are the best place to work for and if you can make it to corporate banking that is cherry on the cake. 4.Other than front end banking wherein sales becomes mandatory, their are several departments like credit, operations, RMCs and ICMCs located in several cities. Now the most important concern is if you have done your BE Cs or B tech CS than I would strongly suggest you to try to get into IT industry. If you could not make it for campus placement , try to find other ways out to get the job in your field instead of getting into private banking. Having worked for an IT company as an HR associate I can vouch for the statement that once you get into IT and acquire related skills ,there is no looking back. From work culture to financial/hierarchical growth IT has a lot to offer. Based on my experience in IT recruitment mentioned are the highest paying jobs these days. ( I have witnessed candidates passed from average colleges and having average comm skills are drawing salaries upto 30 to 40 LPA after 5 to 7 years of experience) a. Data Scientists/ AI b. Full stack developers / Java developers c. PHP/ Dot net/ React JS/Node JS developers d. Some recent niche technologies e. Buisness Analysis f. Automation QA
