Breaking News - In a significant move Microsoft has announced the appointment of Mustafa Suleyman, co-founder of DeepMind and Inflection AI, as the CEO of its new AI division. Suleyman, a prominent figure in the AI landscape, will lead Microsoft AI, a newly formed group that will focus on advancing #Copilot and other consumer AI products and research. This appointment is a clear indication of Microsoft’s strategic intent to stay at the forefront of the AI revolution. Does it create opportunity for developing new moats? Technology developments like this can lower costs at orders of magnitude while enabling new jobs to be delivered profitably to customers.
