One of the most enjoyable sessions I have ever been involved with (and my first focus group ❤️). Raw, unfiltered, funny and hugely insightful. Massive thank you to this group of insureds for sharing their own respective experiences around the intricacies of how multi-generational consumers view and navigate the insurance landscape. There were a lot of positive takeaways, but some critical feedback that we need to absorb. Our gen Zs of the group want quick and easy. They are also turning to alternative platforms, like Reddit, for their research. They don't watch TV. For the gen X and baby boomers of the group, having the option to speak with a human is essential. A resounding yes to more self-service options. Across the board there was a unanimous request for greater transparency, honesty and proactive guidance. Numerous cases of "I didn't realize I was not covered for x". Part therapy session, part customer deep dive, this was a fun, engaging and somewhat cathartic conversation. A refreshing pivot from the usual stuff you see at conferences.
