Helium One Global Ltd's (AIM:HE1, OTCQB:HLOGF) latest test of its Tanzania well feels like a "big step towards demonstration of commerciality", said Panmure Liberum in a note. Itumbula West-1 (ITW-1) flowed at a maximum rate of 2,701 barrels per day, equating to 834 standard cubic feet per day (scf/d) of helium. The company’s internal modelling suggests the rate could increase to 6,176 scf/d using artificial lift in future production phases. Bradda Head Lithium Ltd (AIM:BHL, OTC:BHLIF, TSX-V:BHLI) has recorded lithium shows from channel samples at a new target on its San Domingo pegmatite project in central Arizona. Two prospects at the Dragon target indicated 8.8m of 0.97% Lithium Oxide (Li2O) and 10.40 meters of 0.68% Li2O on the same pegmatite. Elevated caesium (Cs) was also consistently present and elevated in the channel and rock chip samples, with Cs an important element for the US Department of Energy (DOE). Helium One Global Ltd (AIM:HE1, OTCQB:HLOGF) told investors it has successfully deepened the Itumbula West-1 (ITW-1) well by a further 168 meters into the fractured Basement, reaching a new total depth of 1,129 meters measured depth (MD). The company said it encountered ‘near-continuous helium and hydrogen shows’ while drilling, with levels notably higher than those encountered in previous phases. It has now commenced preparations for casing the well, and, after that, it will conduct an extended well test (EWT) across the fractured Basement and faulted Karoo Group zones.
