The Fiery Creek Project encompasses prospects like Fiery Creek, Twilight, Hellfire and Piper and is underexplored but in a geologically favourable area analogous to known copper deposit regions within the Mount Isa Inlier. The project has seen limited historical drilling with anomalous copper results and extensive hematite alteration indicative of a fertile copper system. Alkane Resources Ltd (ASX:ALK, OTC:ALKEF) managing director Nic Earner sits down with Proactive’s Tylah Tully to run through the company’s latest quarterly update. At its Tomingley Gold Operations in Central West NSW, #GoldProduction for the quarter reached 18,418 ounces, in line with the forecast. Site operating cash costs were A$2,000/ounce and the All-In Sustaining Cost (AISC) was A$2,200/ounce. The site generated A$19.2 million in operating cash flow and #gold sales totalled 19,000 ounces, generating A$65 million in revenue at an average price of A$3,400/ounce. The full-year FY2025 production guidance remains unchanged at 70,000 to 80,000 ounces of gold, with an AISC between A$2,400 and A$2,600/ounce. As part of this work, the company has engaged SMG Consulting to conduct a full audit of the site, including drill core and previous assays. This process aims to identify the drilling and assay work necessary to expedite the completion of a JORC resource. The company has significant historical data from previous exploration efforts, including an Exploration Target of more than 7.2 million ounces. The project covers a 95,280 hectare Contract of Work in the Papua province, an area known for significant gold and #copper deposits. The Idenburg project has been bolstered by recent forestry restrictions being downgraded to Production Forest, aiding in its development. Torr Metals Inc. CEO Malcolm Dorsey joined Steve Darling to share exciting updates regarding the company's Kolos Project. Torr Metals has unveiled the final assay results from its 2023 soil sampling program conducted on the Kolos Project, situated just 23 kilometers north-northeast of Merritt, British Columbia, along Highway 5. Dorsey revealed to Proactive that the comprehensive analysis of a total of 3,348 soil samples, covering an expansive area of 48 square kilometers, has yielded promising results. The analysis has delineated five kilometer-scale mineralized zones within a potential cluster porphyry trend spanning 7 kilometers. Notably, each zone exhibits highly anomalous copper (Cu) concentrations, surpassing 200 parts per million (ppm) and reaching a maximum of 1175 ppm Cu. ASX: Extensive Leach Testwork Indicates Strong Recoveries throughout the Kennedy Ionic Clay-Hosted #RareEarths Deposit, Queensland. New testwork has been conducted on 53 drill samples taken from within the Kennedy Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate (150Mt @ 1,000ppm TREO ), demonstrating rapid recoveries by desorption of the rare earth elements in the first 30 minutes using an ammonium sulfate (AMSUL) solution in weak acidic conditions at pH4. As the entire Inferred MRE lies within unconsolidated gravel clays from surface, these new leach results provide the opportunity to progress to more definitive bulk sampling, where emphasis can be given to sampling from areas that coincide with high MREE recoveries and grades in order to optimise the results and focus on potential flowsheet development considerations.
