Australian Gold and Copper Ltd (ASX:AGC) managing director Glen Diemar joins Meagan Evans in the Proactive studio to discuss the discovery of the widest zone of high-grade mineralisation reported to date at its Achilles site in the southern Cobar Basin, NSW. Recent drilling results from six of nine holes showed significant findings, including 16 metres at 18.5% lead+zinc, 0.4 g/t #gold, 31 g/t #silver and 0.8% #copper from 91 metres. The highest grades were 47.1% lead+zinc, 761 g/t silver, 4.1 g/t gold and 2.5% copper in various intervals of hole A3RC038, the most northern hole drilled. The discovery, now defined by 12 drill holes over half a kilometre, remains open in multiple directions. All 12 holes exhibited varying mineralisation levels, indicating substantial near-surface and depth potential. Lunnon Metals Ltd (ASX:LM8, OTC:LNMLF) has reported high-grade #gold discoveries at the Lady Herial and Plentiful prospects within the Foster-Baker (FBA) project area, part of the Kambalda Nickel Project in Western Australia. The company conducted diamond and reverse circulation (RC) drilling at these prospects, which are among its high-priority gold exploration targets. Managing director Edmund Ainscough highlighted the success of the company’s gold-focused drilling programs, emphasising the potential for a low-cost approach to near-surface gold exploration, especially given the current high gold prices in Australian dollar terms. Assays revealed near-surface, gently dipping quartz vein structures at Lady Herial, with notable results including 3 metres at 14.8 g/t gold from 15 metres. At Plentiful, a 50-metre strike zone of gold mineralisation was identified, with results such as 3 metres at 2.59 g/t gold from 49 metres and 11.8 metres at 1.43 g/t from 117.6 metres, including 0.9 metres at 5.72 g/t. Nova Minerals Limited (ASX:NVA, OTCQB:NVAAF) is on a winning streak at its flagship Estelle #Gold Project in Alaska’s prolific Tintina Gold Belt, this time unearthing not one, but two, surface gold anomalies during ongoing field work at the Muddy Creek and Discovery prospects. The ASX-lister hit a more than 1.5-kilometre gold anomaly of up to 127 g/t gold at Muddy Creek where 18 rock samples graded in excess of 10 g/t gold and more than 80% of soil samples returned greater than 1 g/t gold. Summing up the latest gold streak, numerous multi-gram gold rock samples were also found at the nearby Discovery, adding another 800 metres of strike to the anomaly identified at Muddy Creek. Far East Gold Ltd (ASX:FEG, OTC:FEGDF) managing director Shane Menere sits down with Proactive’s Jonathan Jackson to discuss additional high-grade gold assay results – including 20 metres at 7.57 g/t #gold from the Victory vein – in its maiden scout drilling program at the Woyla Copper Gold Project’s Aloe Rek prospect area. Key findings include a 20-metre intersection at 7.57 g/t gold from the Victory vein in hole ARD-009, which also contained 8.5 g/t #silver, yielding a 7.67 g/t gold equivalent. Within this section was 11 metres at 13.45 g/t gold and 13.68 g/t silver, and 3.3 metres at 31.64 g/t gold and 26.8 g/t silver. The project, known for its prospective undrilled copper-gold play, now boasts an increased strike length of 18.5 kilometres. The mineralisation remains open at depth and along strike to the south.
