Equity Metals Corp. (TSX-V:EQTY, OTCQB:EQMEF) announced “encouraging” assay results from the final four holes drilled at the George Lake target on its 100% owned Silver Queen silver-gold project in British Columbia. The company said the result comprised the thickest intercept of mineralization identified to date at the target and some of the highest gold grades, including relatively shallow gold-enriched mineralization identified at the top of drillholes SQ23-094 and SQ23-094 in a previously undetected vein that it said requires further drilling and delineation. Cooper Metals Ltd (ASX:CPM) shares were as much as 92.5% higher in morning ASX trading on news of a significant #copper discovery at the Brumby Ridge prospect within the Mt Isa East Copper-Gold Project in northwest Queensland. The latest results from the ASX-lister’s reverse circulation (RC) drilling program have confirmed bonanza grades of 71 metres at 2.8% copper and 0.05 g/t #gold from 115 metres to the end of hole at 186 metres, including 24 metres at 5.4% copper and 0.10 g/t gold from 115 metres in drill hole 23MERC028. This new result builds on the initial RC drill hole 23MERC024, which intercepted 50 metres at 1.32% copper and 0.05 g/t gold from 80 metres, including 2 metres at 6.1% copper and 0.23 g/t gold, announced earlier this month. Doubleview Gold Corp (TSX-V:DBG, OTCQB:DBLVF) announced that drilling at its polymetallic Hat project in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle has extended the Lisle deposit 240 metres south and resulted in the discovery of the highest #gold grades to date at the project. The company said the area expanded area, called the Gold Rich Zone, will increase the volume of mineralization which will be included in the project’s maiden resource estimate expected in the first quarter of 2024. Highlights included drill hole HO63 which returned 0.21 grams per ton (g/t) of gold over 405 metres and the highest to-date gold drill sample of 18.4 g/t/ gold over 1 metre. The company added that the Gold Rich Zone also assayed similarly high values for scandium as seen in other parts of the deposit, including 25.5 g/t over 405 metres. Nova Minerals Limited has released an SEC-compliant resource estimate demonstrating a large increase to gold in-pit resources at its Estelle flagship to back up its proposed listing on a North American stock exchange. Neither the 5.17-million-ounce S-K 1300 or 9.9Moz JORC estimate include drilling since March last year, and Nova looks to keep adding ounces and turn to development with the backing of US capital. Alkane Resources Ltd (ASX:ALK, OTC:ALKEF) has taken strong strides toward upgrading the mineral resource estimate for the Kaiser deposit of the Northern Molong Porphyry Project in New South Wales. The company has now received assays for its final 12,000-metre round of reverse circulation (RC) and diamond core drilling at Kaiser, completed on a 50-metre by 50-metre grid within the existing inferred resource. Nevada Sunrise Metals Corporation is pleased to announce that its joint venture partner, CopAur Minerals Inc., has reported final results from the 2023 drilling program at the Kinsley Mountain Gold Project (“Kinsley Mountain” or the “Project”) in Elko County, Nevada. Diamond drill hole KMD23-02, targeting resource infill at the high-grade Western Flank Zone, returned 15.28 grams per tonne (“g/t”) gold over 32.3 metres; including 24.07 g/t gold over 10.7 metres (Table 1 and Figures 1 and 2). This result, in conjunction with prior drilling in 2020 by the Kinsley Mountain joint venture that yielded high-grade sulphide gold intercepts at depth, reinforces the continuity and exceptionally high-grade nature of Secret Canyon shale-hosted sulphide gold mineralization.
