Xanadu Mines Ltd #exploration team recently encountered high-grade shallow mineralisation warranting near term follow-up, at the 100% owned Red Mountain #copper #gold project. A highlight of the discovery-focused program was maiden #drilling (comprising three diamond drill holes) at Nowie, which uncovered intervals of high-grade copper sulphide lode mineralisation: • 8m @ 1% Cu, 0.12g/t Au from 267m (OUDDH134) • 14m @ 0.75% Cu, 0.26g/t Au from 113m (OUDDH136) Interestingly, OUDDH134 also encountered a much broader interval of outcropping copper-gold porphyry stockwork mineralisation: • 120m @ 0.14%, 0.12g/t Au from 1m, • including 45m @ 0.27% Cu, 0.15g/t Au from 139m Encouragingly, these results demonstrate both the grade and scale opportunities that lie ahead for Nowie. Torr Metals Inc. announced that it has received preliminary assay results from 896 of 3348 soil samples collected during its 2023 field program at its Kolos copper-gold project in British Columbia which have allowed the company to identify a three-kilometer trend of untested anomalies. The company said that these initial results returned up to 723 parts per million (ppm) copper and 473 parts per billion #gold within two newly identified envelopes of greater than 200 ppm #copper that highlight significant large-scale mineralization measuring 1,300 metres by 750 metres and 950 metres by 550 metres at the Lodi and Kirby Zones, respectively. The results showed that zones of anomalous copper and gold occur across a 3-kilometer trend which coincides with a 6-kilometer north-south trending magnetic high anomaly typically associated with major porphyry deposits. #ASXNews Bastion Minerals Limited is pleased to provide an update on its highly prospective high-grade Rare Earth Elements and Copper project in Sweden, the Gyttorp area no. 100. • Following the release of significant high grade #REE results to the ASX on 14 February 2024, today’s release provides an update on the significant high grade copper potential that exists within the property. • Four over-range samples were re-analysed, returning values of between 2.5% and 8.5% #copper, clustered in one area in the north of the property. • One of the original fifty-three samples taken by Bastion in the open ended > 500 m REE trend exceeded the upper detection for Cerium and has been re-analysed, returning 2.96% Cerium, along with 1.63% Neodymium. The trend may continue over 2 km of strike and the over-limit results for sample GYTR034 returned a significant 7.27% Total Rare Earth Elements (TREE) +Yttrium (Y). • One of the original fifty-three samples taken by Bastion in the open ended > 500 m REE trend exceeded the upper detection for Cerium and has been re-analysed, returning 2.96% #Cerium, along with 1.63% #Neodymium. The trend may continue over 2 km of strike and the over-limit results for sample GYTR034 returned a significant 7.27% Total Rare Earth Elements (#TREE) +Yttrium (Y). • Magnetic and radiometric surveys are being planned to cover the highest priority areas, to better define the extent and quantum of magnetite skarn, mineralisation and to locate potential drill targets. Commenting on the latest results, #BMO Executive Chairman, Mr Ross Landles, said: “Bastion is pleased to provide these updated copper values, for samples which previously exceeded the upper detection limit for copper during the initial rock chip sampling program (Refer ASX Announcement 21 December, 2023). These results confirm high copper grades from 2.5 to 8.5%, associated with chalcopyrite in historical magnetite skarn mine workings sampled over a distance of 80 m, and open in both directions.” Full announcement: https://bit.ly/4c4HdNo #BastionMinerals #RareEarths #ASX

Torex has just released an updated life-of-mine plan for the Morelos Complex that incorporates initial reserves from the EPO underground deposit following completion of an internal pre-feasibility study. With the addition of EPO mineral reserves, the production profile of the Morelos Complex is now firmly established at a minimum of 450 thousand gold equivalent ounces per year through 2030 on the mineral reserve case alone. Notable highlights of the study include: ✅ EPO will be a very capital efficient mine to bring into production, with estimated upfront capex of $81.5 M ✅ Minimal upfront development required to access and connect EPO to Media Luna ✅ Close proximity to Media Luna leverages the investment in infrastructure as part of the Media Luna Project. The Guajes Tunnel, conveyor, ore handling system, paste plant, mineral processing facilities and power and water infrastructure will all be utilized for EPO ✅ The “fill the mill” goal is achieved –the combination of Media Luna production + ELG Underground + EPO results in the mill being full, with mine plan optionality, flexibility, and contingency built in ✅ Low risk brownfield project – situated within the existing, permitted footprint ✅ The timing of EPO derisks the Media Luna ramp up and complements an already robust liquidity outlook – development and the associated capital investment is scheduled to start mid-2025 and initial production expected late-2026 ✅ EPO will further complement the Company’s exposure to the copper market – with 143 million pounds at a grade of 1.29% Cu within the inaugural EPO mineral reserve of 781 koz AuEq. #ASXNews Copper identified in soil samples along strike-extensive gossans at Baratta Stelar Metals is pleased to provide an update on the initial results of the June exploration activities at the Baratta Copper Project in South Australia. Baratta is considered highly prospective for Sediment-hosted Stratabound Copper mineralisation and is analogous to the Central African Copper Belt. • Copper mineralisation identified in soil samples along four strike-extensive gossans at Baratta. • 1,182 soil samples were collected and analysed using portable XRF in June, with pXRF results up to 2% copper. • 77 rock chip samples were submitted for multi-element laboratory analysis along a 3.4km striking portion of the gossan, with results pending. • Historic Baratta #Copper Mine produced copper ore between 1896 and 1904 from a 1.5km long zone of workings. • Copper anomalism and mineralisation at the surface are underlain by dense and magnetic bodies, increasing prospectivity at Baratta. • Baratta’s geological setting displays characteristics Stelar considers similar to those seen in the Central African Copper Belt, the world’s second-largest copper-producing province. "The Zaidan skarn Pb-Zn-Ag deposit is located in the southeast part of the Arghandab-Trin metallic zone. It is associated with basic dykes and an Oligocene granite intrusion into the Upper Triassic to Jurassic carbonates, making it a calcic skarn deposit. Skarn-type deposits are typical hydrothermal mineral deposits, where the original mineral composition of rocks is modified by hydrothermal fluids rich in lead, zinc, and associated elements. These fluids, typically sourced from deep within the Earth's crust (Batholith Arghandab), migrate through fractures and faults, encountering host rocks along their journey. As they interact with these rocks, they initiate silicification, carbonization, and propylitic alterations at the contact of the wall rocks and intrusion fluids. Silicification, the replacement of original minerals with silica, is a common alteration associated with lead and zinc deposits. This process often results in the formation of quartz veins and breccias, which serve as conduits for mineralizing fluids and can host significant concentrations of lead and zinc ores. Carbonatization is another prevalent alteration observed in proximity to lead and zinc deposits. This process involves the replacement of primary carbonate minerals with secondary carbonate minerals, such as calcite and dolomite, which can serve as important hosts for lead and zinc mineralization. Furthermore, sulfidation alterations, where sulfur-bearing minerals like pyrite and sphalerite replace pre-existing minerals, play a crucial role in concentrating lead and zinc ores. These sulfide minerals often form disseminated or massive sulfide bodies within the altered rock matrix." #OMRAN_GEOTECHNIC_COMPANY #OGC #AFGHANISTAN #MINING #LEAD_AND_ZINC
