For the transitioning from telco to techco, the goal is to get to a position where they CSP's provide consumers and companies not just connectivity, storage, and processing capacity, but also strategically selected apps and solutions that are shielded by a secure network against intrusions and breaches of confidentiality. It is necessary to change the way telcos conduct themselves in tandem with the expansion of their mission and the creation of new ideas to bolster it, their transformation. It takes fresh expertise and skills to meet changing requirements, as well as new proficiencies in developing technologies (such as 5G, 6G and AI) that enable the new. Tech companies are transitioning from only relying on connection revenue streams to developing an ongoing portfolio of tools, strategies, and services that require less infrastructure investment. These new sources of income frequently have larger margins than connectivity models. Additionally, Techco's offer a base of flexibility and competence to enable additional diversification as new possibilities present themselves. The challenge today is to optimize the return on investment for those carriers that have made significant expenditures in 5G infrastructure and improved equipment. As tech companies, these businesses ought to be in an improved position to provide their customers with more dynamic services, which they can then propel through their infrastructure. #ServiceNow's #Knowledge24 in Las Vegas was the place to be in tech this week!! What an awesome event attended by over 24000 knowledge seekers. SNOW has definitively positioned itself as the AI company for enterprise transformation and K24 has further strengthened that pole position with an awesome set of #GenAI announcements including products, partnerships and customer testimonials. The keynotes outlined the ethos of simplification and weaving GenAI into every corner of business in an awesome manner. I feel that leveraging the power of AI comes naturally to a company so focused on workflows and automation. It was notable to see the focus on business workflows too. The Source to Pay (S2P) workflows were featured prominently and I am very excited to see the disruption SNOW brings to the #procurement and #supplychain space leveraging their core ideas of #integration and simplicity.
